We did find the beer selection ample and the people friendly.
I recommend the "smoked marzen" for anybody into unique flavors. On Friday nights they apparently have live music and a food truck present for snacking.

Not a lot for kids to do other than dance and mingle with the crowd. Also, bring your bug spray! As with most places in the low country, dusk can be hell in the open air, fighting swarms of mosquitoes. This place is a little hard to find. It's hidden from the main road.
They only offer sampling and growler fills. You are only allowed to get 4 samples so I tried everything on tap that day. This is a great stop for beer lovers. I read some reviews of this place, all good reviews. Delicious oysters and scallops plate, great service, great prices. The frydaddy himself, a very nice guy, I had lunch with my girl friend there. I ordered the fried shrimp basket and she had the seafood rice.
