I feel very calm here, that is why I love it so much. During spring and summer the green of the trees breaks up the uniform pattern of the concrete apartment blocks. From 6am-8am, time slows down, there's little traffic and the cool morning breeze goes perfectly with a fresh cup of coffee. Usually the evening is the best time to enjoy the view, especially during June when the Linden trees are in full bloom. The smell is incredible and it sweeps over the whole neighborhood. This morning as I stood to take this photo, the air was fresh and Ms.
Smith from next door was having her morning coffee under the tree which is home to a family of iguanas. As the day progresses more iguanas will come down from the tree, but fortunately not many come on our side of the fence. I don't really like how close the iguana tree is, because I fear one may fall on me if I sit out there, even though it is probably unlikely. I love the amount of animals that live in this lake. There's a often a turtle just under the iguana tree, and as I look up a gaulin is snatching a fish and taking him away for his meal.
From here I can look over the whole city.

My window faces east and every morning I feel like I'm looking at the best scenery ever and it's never going to be any better than this. But then the night comes, and the view just pulls you in with a million colors and its New York-like soul. Sometimes I feel like I have a huge virtual reality screen and the scenery is changing just for me. From my window I can see the typical urban kaleidoscope of structures which are sprouting up in my area.

Across the roofs of my neighbors where cats frequently play at night , I see the tall, lean building which has recently been constructed. I love taking comfort in this window after a long stressful day. During rainy reason I can hear the splatters of rain on the metal roofs which sometimes sound like a melody. At other times the sound of the rain reaches a crescendo, and then we know our streets are likely to flood. I love where I live. It is fairly quiet as I live out in the countryside; however, I can see some cars here and there.
I can see the neighbors play with their kids, dogs running around, birds flying, and I sure hear a lot of lawn mowers. I also see the mail arriving, and the school bus picking up and dropping off kids.

Afternoons are the best because of the view. The sunsets are amazing; especially on a nice summer night. Winter can be just as amazing with the view of the snow-covered trees, grass, the road, with the beautiful sunset in the back. I don't like this area much. I came here because I didn't have any other option.
My apartment is situated in a mini market, which is semi residential, semi commercial area. From my window I see the top of a plaza which is still being developed, some houses, and minaret of a mosque. I can also see a burger shop sign. Being a market, this area is quite noisy, and I hear all sorts of voices and noises throughout the day.
The scenery and sounds change at night. By 8pm shops start closing, and by midnight everything becomes peaceful. Except for a few street lights, the area becomes dark. This view does not make me think or feel anything good. Sometimes I look outside just to have an idea of the weather and heat. I live at the very edge of the city and all my windows face west, to the last few buildings.
I look out over sky, birds, and beautiful sunsets all year long. I'm not sure anything except seasons will ever change here - the view is just the same as it was ten years ago. Still, I could stand by my window all day long without getting bored. The air here is fresh and clean, it's nice and quiet without city noise, the sky is always beautiful and sunsets are simply amazing.
If I could, I'd keep this view forever. My window faces a toilet block. A full open flyscreen wraps the top half of the building so that the toilet always smells clean.

All I can smell is fresh country air, and the fragrance of fruit trees and flowering bushes around my room. I hear the birds calling many different tunes all day, from sun up in the break of dawn into the night. I also hear kangaroos bounding around outside chasing each other from time to time. Our little garden provides us with nourishing herbs and salad greens that we have planted.
It is such a delight to eat what we grow and it fills my heart knowing that I can live from the land. My view makes me feel alive, like I am free from the normal restrictions of modern suburban life. The view is relaxing, the blue sky and the pine dancing slowly with the wind makes me feel calm.
At sunset I can see an orange glow on the horizon, and the mountains are revealed. The lights turn on outside coloring the streets orange. People are coming back from work, and the traffic noise is increasing. As sun sets, cold invades the room.

The dim light in combination with low temperature makes me feel a little weird, I want a cup of coffee. As I take this picture, I can hear birds singing and wind blowing inside the vents. I love that I can see seasons change. In summer I feel every light breeze that brings the cool air from the waterfront.

In autumn I watch the colors of the forest at the other side of the river changing. In winter I can see the river become slowly covered with ice. In spring I watch the ice break and the stream take it to the sea and trees next to my windows blossoming. It is about meters wide at the point where my building is located, so all I see is a vast amount of water and a mixed tree forest on the other side of the river. As a northerner and introvert at heart, I love the fact that all I see everyday is nature even though I live in the largest city in the Baltic states. Most mornings I get a spectacular view of the lush green mountains that cascade around my house.
Some days there will be fog surrounding the green, and oppressing the morning. I have a tropical jungle of a garden to glance at when I wake up, and the cage full of our large guard dogs. In the evenings, when the sun is setting, I can see the bright blue skies become dark, and the green mountains turn a sort of black, as the sun goes down. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful this setting actually is. I can see directly into a neighboring apartment. Sometimes I see a person cooking, other times opening or closing the window, but mostly I just hear them chatting and laughing.
I know this because I can often hear them yelling. Time to cook myself. I see tiny houses and roads around me throughout the day from a height. There are many people and vehicles going about their business, but I feel disconnected from them, as though I am watching a silent movie. I love to spend my time near the window especially on a sunny day, but sunny days are few and far between here. No need for complicating. Found another fix that may help others. I tried all of the above techniques and the application would close if I tried to click on it.
The fix was disconnect the second monitor and restart the app. Hope this helps others. The window menu should appear on the border of the screen. In that case, start again. None of these worked for me. After screwing around for an hour, I found a way that did for Win 7. The problem program immediately maximized.
I hope this helps at least one of you. While waiting for your reply I was trying a lot of other things to restore the browser. When I closed all tabs but one, right clicked on the top of the tab that was still open, I was able to drag the browser back to where it belonged. I must have done just the opposite when I dragged it off the screen by accident.
