I do recommend it just be aware it moves slowly. I am getting ready to purchase the second book in this four-book series. Kiss Cam is sweet, simple, drama-less, corny at times, sexy and hot. Or in other words, uncomplicated romance bliss! Anie Michaels, I am putting you on my radar. Jul 10, Kiki rated it liked it Shelves: Too insta, too smooth, unrealistic lack of conflict.

After getting an awesome promotion at work, Riley splurges on basketball tickets. Luck is not only on her side for the promotion but she is also seated next to a hottie. The same hottie she witnessed breaking up with his girlfriends just minutes ago. After their kiss is broadcasted on TV, Camden tries his hardest to get Kiss Cam hooked me with the synopsis.

After their kiss is broadcasted on TV, Camden tries his hardest to get her number. After some research he finds Riley and contacts her. I enjoyed this one as I liked to see their relationship progress. I liked Camden a lot. But I felt like there was missing something is this book. Like perhaps there needed to be more conflict or just angst. Kiss Cam was a fun, sweet, and sexy read. When I say sexy, I really mean sexy.

Camden and Riley had fantastic chemistry. Jan 25, Fly FreeBird rated it liked it. The author gave this book the ending so why write another about the same characters. All and all it was a good read. Mar 27, Laurie rated it really liked it. This was, surprisingly, a pretty drama-free book. I kept on waiting for something to happen but nothing really came. It's fine with me, I liked that this was just about two people falling in love and how you could practically feel the chemistry between them - it was simply off the charts!

Cam actually made me swoon and it was exactly what I needed at this moment. They are both at a basketball game and happen to be sitting next to each other. What happens next is all left to fate! Between meddling ex-girlfriends, an evil well somewhat stepfather, this book has it all! What a truly heartwarming story. I laughed out loud quite a few times, I experienced an increase heart rate and just had the feel goods throughout the book.

The author had me from page 1, the development of the characters and the relationships were on par and believable. Michaels has a new fan with me! Mar 09, Becca rated it it was amazing. Anie Michaels has me totally hooked on Camden and Riley! Kiss Cam is witty, smart, and undeniable sexy — a sassy, sweet story that will give you all the feels, keep you grinning and leave you wanting more. From the moment of their amusing first meeting, Camden and Riley shared a palpable tension that was instant and overwhelming.

I got lost in the easy friendship that quickly formed between them, fueled by a natural chemistry that made this couple feel fated and right. They were both stubborn an Anie Michaels has me totally hooked on Camden and Riley! They were both stubborn and determined to make their own way in the world, which resulted in some seriously fantastic banter. Not to mention a push and pull that was impossible to look away from. Camden and Riley were undeniably tangible, living out their story in the real world where twenty-somethings go to basketball games and drink beer at the local pub.

This couple came across as comfortable and familiar, allowing me to invest myself in them wholeheartedly. While Riley and Camden were easy to relate to and fun to explore, what I loved most about them was their understated complexity and genuine feelings. Kiss Cam was a refreshing change of pace for Anie Michaels whose previous books have been far more angsty and heart wrenching. Filled with laughter, love and adorably sweet moments, this one just made me feel good all the way through.

Anie Michaels delivers a touch of inner turmoil with this couple, allowing for enough more serious emotions to play out across the pages to perfectly balance the sass and steam. Anie Michaels infuses this story with heart and humor, giving Riley and Camden distinct voices that demand to be heard and felt. Full of enchanting characters, hilarious banter, plenty of genuine emotion, and an unforgettable storyline, Kiss Cam is undoubtedly a sexy, smart and totally sweet story that will leave you utterly satisfied. This one sizzles from the start. The fly in the ointment is the stepdad's choice. Class struggles aren't often addressed in our country, though they certainly flare up from time to time. This story treads lightly, but still drives the point home. Feb 10, Beth rated it it was ok. Romance obviously that drew me in a with a cute idea of strangers kissing on a kiss cam. I was disappointed in the very rapid progression to a sexual relationship.

Specifically the heroine tells the hero that she is "not that kind of girl" but her actions contradict her words almost immediately. And, the f bombs were everywhere. I didn't think either the hero or heroine were very likeable. Feb 05, ViolinVixen rated it it was amazing.

Riley was out for a girls night to celebrate her recent promotion. As much as she tried to ignore the drama happening beside her, it was too unbelievable to look away. I plan to read it while visiting my sister in Providence, Rhode Island. On a trip that is mainly travel, I want books that will inspire me, that are humane and thought-provoking. Oscillating between bold declarations and restrained, seething fury, the poems slowly build to a storm in the psyche. The book is a masterclass in line-making and metaphor. It lifts me, like the best books, higher into myself. It is the epitome of autofiction — and advances the tradition to include images and photographs.

Brutal and unforgiving, it explores a crumbling marriage and its ensuing existential crisis through the lens of the West Virginian working class. A classic of urgent, American storytelling. Shakespeare on Politics WW Norton. There have been quite a few such books recently, most of them overpraised and not as well written as their admirers claim. But Tallis writes with clarity and wit about the morbid condition of love, which emerges here as a kind of mental disorder. I was mesmerised by this book, which manages to be steamy hot and sweet at the same time.

An American Marriage Algonquin by Tayari Jones is another incredible love story, though fraught with greater challenges for the couple at the centre, which makes the story all the more moving. You will never forget the story of Celestial and Roy. Unfortunately, there are no grand travel plans for me this season. I read The One Who Wrote Destiny Atlantic by Nikesh Shukla, a beautiful, brilliant modern classic, cover to cover on one long-haul flight — take tissues!

With boy next door good looks and a care-giving personality he had me swooning! This book Book two in the Cherry Lips series. It was sometimes fun and and sometimes heartbreaking. This is my first book in the series, however, I do not feel that I missed part of the story by not reading the others beforehand. Since this one was good, I will look up the other books. Sep 04, Joelle Yates rated it it was amazing.

Sep 18, Emily Pennington rated it it was amazing Shelves: But as she was leaving, she saw a furtive man looking quickly from side to side, slouched and creeping down the hallway. She grabbed him by the coat and he took off his baseball cap, asking if she was trying to get his autograph!

He was handsome, with sandy blond hair and blue eyes. He said he was trying to find an exit and was lost. He finally told her that a crowd would mob him outside since someone posted that he was spotted at the hospital; he needed a side entrance to sneak out of. She believed him and directed him to a door to avoid the crowd. Looking at the paper he gave her, she realized he was Nathan Walker, guitarist of the hugely popular band, Cherry Lips. He was a rock star god! Becca was admitted in the side door and watched the crazy chaotic activity as everyone prepared for the concert.

Nathan walked up to her and she did a double-take at his changed appearance. He even had eyeliner on! He told her to stick around after the concert, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Then he invited her to a club. Although not in her comfort zone, she decided to go anyway. As they danced, they both agreed to leave the club and spend personal time together. Probably for the first time ever, Nathan was shocked as Becca was the one to dress and go home rather than stay for breakfast.

Clean Wholesome Romance – Books You Can Trust & Share

Becca began to see that Nathan was actually lonely. When will they be able to tell each other the important things affecting their lives? Will they break apart to avoid that intensity? Or will they find their strength together to face anything that comes their way? Or will Becca end things first? She's familiar with risks but she's not willing to risk hurting Nathan. Nathan was the best part of this story.

He was wonderful despite his past as a manwhore. His thoughtfulness, his protectiveness, and his naughtiness were adorable. His concern over his mom, the pain felt for his first band, and the way he missed his best friend endeared him to me. I would have enjoyed this story, even more, had it been dual POV.

I would have liked to know what was going through his mind when she pushed him away repeatedly and when he finally got the full story. I liked Becca and felt for her with her condition and with her parents. I would have liked to feel more 'life' from her, more ambition, more sass.

What an emotion packed journey we take with Nathan and Becca! A chance meeting has these two seeing something in each other that makes them want more, want something different. They hit it off right away, and find themselves confiding in each other, telling things even those closest to them have no idea is weighing them down. I loved Nathan immediately - handsome, a little cocky, talented rock star with a strong, quiet, intelligent, sensitive side hidden from view.

But for some reason, he o Wow! But for some reason, he opens up to Becca. Would have liked to get inside his head a little to see what his side was like. Becca, on the other hand She keeps saying that she hates people coddling her, making decisions for her, but then she does similar to Nathan.

What she decides she must do for his own good, is like a slap in the face to him and all that he has done for her. She takes away his right to decide what path he would choose. If she wants trust, then she must give it also. I wanted to knock some sense into the girl! And give Nathan a shoulder to cry on! That being said, this story at my heart strings, made me laugh, cry, growl, and swoon. For me, Nathan stole the show!
