Why did you blow the building up? It was blocking my sun. I'll ask you again - where are you from? One of the scenes that does seem well crafted is a minor scene involving Tanner changing a tire. Another involves a lot of dirt. Overall, the film is passable as a no-brainer action film. There are a few good shots, including one where Tanner camouflages himself, a slow-motion close-up of the effect of shock waves and the destruction of a flying object.

The action is watchable, but uninspired. The characters do as well as can be expected with what they're given. The film has a sort of half-baked theme about Tanner needing to follow though and the nature of accepting responsibility.

But Tanner never has a plausible option not to continue to the conclusion. He is pushed along by outside forces. The characters who actually make moral choices are his father and two members of his team. In an early scene, a judge imposes an ultimatum which motivates Tanner, but that ultimatum is later abrogated by a character who doesn't have the authority to do so and offers a reward which would ordinarily be unavailable to somebody convicted of manslaughter. The major problems lie in the script and direction. The script seems like it's about two re- writes short of complete and the direction seems slipshod, haphazard and unplanned.

However, it squeezes in a lot of action, usually at a lively pace and the scenery looks nice. If one can crank up ones willful suspension of disbelief to a moderately high level and sit back and enjoy the show, it's not a bad way to fritter away ninety minutes. So then you take a loose brawling style which I incorporated in the ring and the technical fighting aspect a guy like Jack Conrad should have for the military background, and then all of a sudden I have to take a new fighting style and remember a choreographed fight move for move, it was very frustrating until I just kept doing it over and over again and then getting the hang of it, but I have to give credit to Richard Norton and Sam Greco, the two guys that were basically training me, and it made for some frustrating days until I started getting the hang of it.

But completely different, athletic ability required in both, execution way different.

Did you do your own stunts? I did not do the major stunts in this movie. Did you work with them to help them, or did they help you?

With WWE Films this is the first picture of a three picture deal. A movie like The Condemned, completely different, but the same adrenaline type packed thing with a good story, lots of action. And I think for a long time I was bulletproof, and back in those days I was bulletproof, but as you get on you start thinking a little bit about the future and I love living and I love life, and I love hunting and fishing, and I want to be able to do it was long as I can and do it pain free. The neck is great; the leg braces were for wrestling, part of my gear, part of my uniform, part of my equipment.

How do you like LA compared to Texas? And Los Angeles , in it of itself, is a cool city, great weather; the traffic is brutal, the real estate prices are sky high. It took me a long time till I could even think about buying a house because very, very small houses cost a lot; for that lot, you could buy a mansion in Texas. Is there any good fishing in LA? Do you throw them back?
