There is probably no more controversial issue than this one regarding same-sex attraction and Christian faith. What if you or someone you know has same-sex desires?

How do you sort through the many voices and opinions on this issue? The Journey Church will join with Christians around the world in observing the death of Jesus Christ on the cross by holding a short Good Friday service on Friday, April 14, from pm. The service will consist of singing, prayer, scripture reading, and a short message all intended to foster meditation on the sacrifice of God's Son to wipe away the sins of His people.

Easter Sunday marks the most joyous celebration of the Christian calendar each year. It was decided that southern Chester County, then a very rural and remote part of the Archdiocese, should have its own parish. On Christmas Day in , the parish of St. Patrick was created in Kennett Square. It encompassed all of southern Chester County south of West Chester.

Construction of a church began immediately, and within a short time a small wooden church was blessed. This Church building located on West South Street measured sixty feet in length and thirty-five feet in width. Archbishop Wood, the fifth bishop of Philadelphia, dedicated the Church in For almost forty years this church was the setting for the celebration of Sunday Masses, baptisms, weddings, and funerals of the Catholic community.
