Needless to say, the end result was worthy of all the worrying, and delivered in typical Mark Alders style: Nov 13, Bookbee rated it it was ok Shelves: Dec 28, Gabbi rated it it was amazing Shelves: Christmastime is definitely one of the busiest times of the year for the folks at Passmore.
So much so, Wilson and his lover, Edmund has had a hard time being able to spend some quality time together.
Christmas in Passmore by Mark Alders
Wilson is constantly helping the Vicar and is bogged down with council meetings while Edmund is busy at the hospital with emergency calls. But, hopefully with a little prayer and a Christmas miracle or two, the two men will be able to spend their Christmas together and maybe even with a wonderful surprise for Wilson… I loved this book! Both Wilson and Edmund have enough physical chemistry together to smoke up any ereader or computer screen! Not only that, the obvious love and affection they have for each other really resonates with me as a reader. They are both very honorable and likeable men who sometimes have to put their duties before their own wants and needs.
I loved the romantic tone of the book especially at the end but as with all of Mr. These two men are clearly made for each other and I loved watching them work at ways to find little forbidden moments alone. Another thing I loved about this book was the townspeople of Passmore. They are definitely fun and likeable characters in their own right. Each person brought something into the story and in all honestly, they kept me laughing at some of their antics.
Christmas Faire- Passmore Hall
Alders shows his humorous side with this book, and believe me; I loved every minute of it. Christmas in Passmore is sexy, humorous and an all-around well-written read. I loved every minute I spent reading about these characters and I hope Mr. Alders will revisit them in the future.
Alders has a lighter, sexier, humorous side to his writing when he writes these stories and I have to admit, these are some of my favorite books by him. Christmas in Passmore is the second book in the Passmore series. Although it could probably be read as a stand-alone book, I recommend reading the books in series order.
