Can the physician heal himself. Let me start by saying that I did not think I would like this movie, but it exceeded my expectations. I think what I liked the most about it, was it was not your typical romance movie. I had heard before seeing it that it was predictable and just like every other "chick flick" but the truth is This movie had a lot of depth, a lot of touching moments and yes, obviously romance. That being said, this movie was more about finding the good in life and forgetting all of the hurt and heart aches then it was about romance, although that aspect of it is in there too.
Aaron Eckhart is impossible not to like and quite the eye candy. This movie also had some great songs in it! Overall, definitely not too bad!

At a conference in Seattle -- the city he shared with his deceased wife -- he distracts himself from painful memories by flirting with hotel florist Eloise Jennifer Aniston. As Burke juggles his duties to his mourning attendees, his need to impress executives from a media corporation that wants to market him as the next Dr.
Phil, and his growing attraction to Eloise, it becomes clear that he hasn't yet finished grieving his own loss. It's hard to believe that a dashing man like Eckhart and a stunning woman like Aniston could have absolutely no chemistry, but there's no accounting for that enigmatic X-factor in cinema.
Frankly, it's unclear what genre the movie belongs in, as it's simultaneously an occasionally humorous look at grief therapy, a chronicle of the hypocritical individuals who become celebrity "healers," and a thoroughly boring examination of the start of a rebound relationship. Despite feeling overly long and dramatically uneven, Love Happens does feature a couple of stand-out supporting performances.
Judy Greer adds another notch to her "quirky best friend" belt as Eloise's slam-poet employee, and Dan Fogler brings the laughs as Burke's manager. Martin Sheen is affecting as Burke's angry former father-in-law, although the movie doesn't really deserve an actor of his magnitude. Most frustrating of all is a wordless cameo from two Battlestar Galactica actors only BSG fans will recognize them who pop up in an extended sequence for no real reason. It's only worth mentioning because if their on-screen presence was supposed to be funny The puzzling cameo is slightly pleasant but ultimately confusing and insignificant -- just like the film itself.

It is filled with surprises. Jennifer Aniston is great as usual, and this a great role for her. I didn't realize what a good actor Aaron Eckhart is, and when Martin Sheen make a cameo appearance, it will bring tears to your eyes. Everyone including me has lost someone dear to your heart and this movie teaches you the beginner steps of how to start to try to move on with your life. Make sure you see it!! The only reason I couldn't give this movie five stars were for some of the bad language which was only a few words towards the end , some of the partying, and the suggestive language the one friend uses. But that's just from someone who doesn't like hearing the bad words and such.

Otherwise this movie was touching. As a life coach I enjoy stories with a look inside how people think and cope with things that happen to them; this movie is centered on that. A man who teaches other people how to move beyond grieving the death of a loved one finds himself barely coping when having his own flash backs, regrets, guilt, and grief. I love the friendship that builds between these two and how much she is willing to help him out. It's something that is inspiring for me; how often does one go out of their way to help people they barely know or people they may only know for a short time?
