Despite the advantage of breaking up the tours, I'm not so sure a 10 year old would enjoy a whole day of "looking at old houses"!! We had a great tour of the Lotz House. Our tour guide Thomas was very informative and passionate about this home and history. A must see when in the area! We toured the house and were told of the family who grew up there and ended up in the middle of a civil war battle. The owner had to rebuild it after the house was damaged.
