This was nice because a majority of vegas hotels have a smoky smell and this place was just refreshing. The line for check in was very short, however i can see how it could be chaotic upon check in later in the day because there is no organized line, its simlpy walk up. I was curious about getting a complimentary upgrade as i had booked a standard mountain view room on a lower floor.

She also gave me a complimentary check out time of 1pm instead of 11am. The room itself was amazing.

I have read in other reviews that it takes forever to get to your room but we were towards the end of one of the long hallways and it never did take more than 5 minutes to walk from the room to the front doors in the main lobby. When you first enter the room you simply wave the room key over the door handle and the door opens and upon entering the automatic curtains open revealing the amazing view, also the TV turns on with your name it nice touch and all of the slights in the room turn on welcoming you.

The room is very technical and if you are tech savy you will love, if you have troubles operating a simple TV remote you may have issues. There is a tablet on the nightstand by the bed that you can control everything from lighting to curtains, room temperature, tv, music, you can even order room service or put the room into a privacy mode or service mode.

THe house keeping was great. We didnt spend much time in the room during the day but when we returned each night there were new towles and also any clothes we left out they were neatly folded and placed on a chair or the bed. The bed was amazing! Definitley the highlight for me. I slept extremely well. THe bathrooms were nice with a seperated enclosed area with toilet and phone and the shower was huge with a big soaking tub behind the shower. We did try caffe vetro and the food was good but the prices were a little high considering what we had. The buffet was great as well, kind of high priced but in comparrison to other vegas buffets it had a great selection and good variety of foods and an awesome desert bar: After checking out we had a flight later in the day so we left our bags with the bell desk and i was impressed because they asked when we would be leaving the property and i explained we would take a Taxi to the airport and they had our bags waiting at the Taxi stand at hte time i specified we would be leaving.

This just added to the entire experience. Aria has definitely earned its 5 star rating and after visiting most of the properties on teh strip and having been to vegas several times before and staying at other hotels i would say this place is definitely my new 1 hotel and i would recommend it over Venetian, Wynn or Bellagio.

THe location was great, not far from teh strip at all. There was a nice tram the connected Monte Carlo to Aria to the Bellagio which helped with walking. I will definitely stay here again. Stayed at Aria July First big win was an complimentary upgrade to a corner suite! Overall a nice stay for a reasonable price but not memorable really.

As the Aria's promotional video says 'let The Aria seduce you' and it does. Located in City Centre an amazing retail and entertainment district together with The Manarin Oriental, Vadara, a non smoking and non gaming hotel and spa and Crystals a high end shopping centre, The Aria offers a very contempory option for you stay in Las Vegas.

The hotel has rooms and suites.

The thing you need to know is that very few people will be paying rack rate. Some people will be on 'comps' due to their potential or past spending power at the tables but if you are going to visit Las Vegas more than once always stay at the same hotel, get to know someone in reservations and start getting those good rates and upgrades, The Aria is fabulous.

It offers 15 restaurants, I really enjoyed the AAA Four Diamond Sage, but equally the Jean Philippe 'cafe' where they sell the best breakfast paninis I have ever tasted, provides a great all day dining option. The Aria has great rooms packed with modern technology including a tablet to control absolutely everything. There is a high wire tram directly to The Bellagio. The hotel has three pools.

The only criticism of the pools is that there is a lack of umbrellas. When I was there it was 41 degrees so unless you pay for a cabana you fry! Although my phone and flat screen TV were temporarily broken during my stay they were quickly and efficiently fixed. The overall service at the hotel is excellent. The hotel has lovely interiors.

Use Themer with a theme extending theme-aria Hi - I would like to use the Themer tool to work with customizations to the "theme-aria" theme supplied as part of the classic toolkit. I don't need any modern support for this theme. However I notice I don't see theme-aria as an option when creating a new theme and choosing which base theme it should extend.

To get around this, I created a new empty theme extending neptune and then tried manually editing the package. We've been wanting to work with the aria theme for a while and Themer seemed like it would be a very useful tool to help us do that. Best Answer Posted by dan. Hi ansel, I believe we chose to not include the Aria theme package because it just provides a high-contrast theme. Before Themer, this was much more difficult to accomplish and also locked you into one base theme.

Now, however, with Themer, you should be able to quickly create your own high-contrast theme, and base it off of the theme of your choice; with most of the work being done in 3 variables Base Color, Background Color, and Font Color. Also, this is only in regards to the theme package portion of Aria, you can still use the code package in your app to help with accessibility requirements. If you are committed to using the Aria theme, you should be able to generate a theme package with Cmd yourself, and open it with Themer.

Great thanks - and indeed that's exactly what I ended up doing, and it worked very well. A nice use of Themer as we had delayed trying to do a "dark" theme for a while. I was still left confused as to why certain themes are "openable" in themer and others are not.

In particular, I would have expected that any theme that ships with the SDK itself would be compatible as a base theme - hopefully that sounds reasonable. But thanks for the useful tool and we'll keep posting any questions or feedback as we come up with them!
