I was left confused, jumbled, and honestly none the better for reading it. Forces of Retribution is the second in a trilogy of human interest adventure thrillers by the author Andrew Man. Dramatic, action-packed and with an assured quantum physics context, Man has succeeded in creating a unique hybrid of science fiction and thriller which is bound to delight fans of both, in equal measure. The reader ideally needs to know a little about the current theories at the frontiers of science and certainly will come across some mind-blowing ideas from the author.

He coves a vast number of topic; do we live in a hologram universe, travel through time and space through worm holes, where global warming is leading us, what the Great Pyramid was really built for etc.. A really good read that will set you thinking about the meaning of life and many other things too. He coves a vast number of topic; do we live in a hologram universe, travel through time and space through worm holes, where global warming is leading us, what the Great Pyramid was really built for etc.

Although this is the third book in the Tego Arcana Dei Series, I think that it works as a standalone story, the common denominator, to all the novels, being that of the main protagonist, James Pollack. The story of kidnap, disappearance and corruption is well constructed and the author writes with assurance about a genre of fiction he obviously cares passionately about.

As with all book series, for better continuity, you really are perhaps wiser to read the series from the beginning , that way the subtle nuances of the story are better enjoyed. I wasn't sure what I would be getting when I first started "Keeping Gods Secret", but within just a few pages I was hooked and couldn't put the book down for anything. Andrew Man is a talented writer who manages to weave a captivating story of interdimensional travel and time travel through the use of "astral travel" that only a few can use. Jam I wasn't sure what I would be getting when I first started "Keeping Gods Secret", but within just a few pages I was hooked and couldn't put the book down for anything.

James Pollack, the main character, is a character that pulls you into his gravity and takes you along for the ride on a boundless journey of intrigue, action, sex, adventure and more. This is a great science fiction novel about multiple universes, the present day and the near future. Stuck in the middle of Lebanon in the middle of war, the main character, James Pollack, finds himself between universes. In this world he faces war, in the alternative universe he faces a landscape full of mutants in which he is one of the few remaining males of the human species. The novel mixes alternate reality and pulp style themes of last-man-on-earth in a clear and well-written narrative.

Forces of Retribution, take him through time, from back to and forward to Sometimes he is like Indiana Jones, navigating underground tunnels at the Egyptian pyramids. It's an entertaining sci-fi read that has to do with the present time, future and the universe as a whole. I loved seeing the time travel brought to life--while I've seen a lot of movies about it, I haven't read too many books that revolve around time traveling. James is able to time travel, but in this case, it's not such a good thing.

When he arrives to Earth in the future, it is anything but what he expects. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more!
