I decided to read it before I wrapped it and am glad I did. I loved the way the author combined two stories, one the story of a boy who loved soccer, and the other the story of that boy becoming the Pope. I'm going to buy another copy for my godson so I can keep this one. Love Michael's style of writing so that teenagers or adults can really enjoy the story. I enjoyed the intimate look at the Pope as well as the history in the making from an inside perspective!
