One of the best Disneyland-related podcasts! I fully enjoy each episode. I like how they have different segments. I really enjoy Michaels segments about the history of the park. This is a podcast I sometimes go back and listen to past episodes just to refresh or sometimes pick up something I missed.

I was so hopeful. The only good podcast about Dl.

But Tom has to get a new crew. He's great but Maryjo interrupts with contradictions and is always wrong. Hopefully Michael will be too busy with his podcast to show up often. He has to stop saying "so anyway". Better than the DW version but needs help.

101 Facts About Disney

You guys are better about staying on topic but the show still needs refinement. There is a lot of sidetracking and nonsense.

You got {%result value%} out of 20 right.

Please try to emulate better shows because you all have a ton of great info and seem entertaining if directed better. My friends, even if they don't know it! I enjoy this podcast so much! I listen to it every week, and I feel as though they are my firends that I meet up with to discuss and find out all the latest info with the goings on in the park.

Ive never met any of them, but they make you feel as though your are part of the "inner circle". I listen to other disney podcasts but this is my favorate, I smile when I press play on this show every time. They are always up to date, and if something comes up Mary Jo will go search to find the info before next topic is brought up. Well I could go on and on, but let me just say, thanks for great shows!

It's hard to listen to. The good, they have an solid agenda and work through it. The bad they talk over each other, various mic volumes makes it to hard to hear, too many inside jokes between each other, it's just a hot mess compared to other Dis unplugged pods however much of the same I tried to get past the bad but couldn't do it. They need to clean up there presentation and respect each other. I'm really enjoying this. Planning my and my family's first trip to DL and I'm loving all of the tips.

Everyone is great but I adore Michael. His love of Disney is very infectious. Such a great Disney Podcast!!! I love listening to this podcast helps me get through my long work hours and public transportation rides. When I went to Disneyland last month for my first time in 17 years, I took into consideration everything I've learned from this podcast for my trip! I had a blast! Thank you all for your informative tips and recommendations. By KD Bruin I started listening about 3 months ago and I am hooked!

Lou’s Inbox – Visiting Walt Disney World in a Wheelchair

I binge listen during my commute. I find the podcast very informative and very personable. Like listening to friends. I also enjoy listening to Connecting With Walt and other select episodes of the Orlando podcast. I highly recommend this podcast to any Disney fan!! By Jesse's Disney Girl. This podcast gives some great insight into the Disneyland park, especially for me, a Disneyworld person. I enjoy the reviews of the hotels, as well.

I think it's awesome that they discuss other lodging options beside the very expensive on site options. I think that the team gets annoyed with Nancy Tony seems rude anyways. Mary Jo seems like a sweetheart, as does Michael. I love those two. Not as Professional and a Little Too Negative! I keep hoping this podcast will get better, but it just seems to stay in a rut. Tom can be a bit negative and definitely has a hard time controlling the rest of the panel.

Mary Jo is certainly nice and positive; Michael is always positive and informative; Tony can definitely get a bit worked up; but the real problem is Nancy's inability to let the other people to talk uninteruppted. She just usually takes over and also has a reference back to herself and her family. This could be a great podcast but Tom needs a dose of pixie dust and Nancy needs to quit interuppting. THE place for Disneyland info. I am my family's source for anything about Disneyland.

I get my Information right here. I am addicted to this podcast, love it! As a disney addict I was wondering if any of the gals are aware of the Disney line of Jamberry products, it is offered for a liminited time only and I have already worn mine! This maybe something your audience would be interested in? Best News for Disneyland!

They Can Do Better. Great storytellers and hosts can take something you have little interest in like, say, monetary policy and make it VERY entertaining. By the same token, mediocre storytellers or hosts can take something you LOVE like Disneyland and make it almost intolerable. Look, I listen to a LOT of podcasts, and the unfortunate reality is that this show just isn't very good.

It's a shame, too, because southern California is theme park lover's paradise To be fair, I have listened or tried to listen to dozens of shows. What keeps me hitting the delete button before the show is even half over usually comes down to these few pain points: Too much time wasted in the beginning doing introductions. Pete introduces everyone quickly and then gets right to business. I realize that it's basically a conference call show, but there are ways to improve the audio and make it seem like everyone is in the same room.

Too much needless laughing. It gets really old really fast. When the WDW team has a good laugh, it's because someone said something really funny and everyone is in on the joke. And it doesn't happen that often.

  • It seems like the DL crew has a lot of inside jokes and constantly laugh with each other No clear show lead or format. Who's in charge and driving the show? I get lost half the time. The format is not adhered to very well. Too much wasted time. I love just about everything Disneyland-related, but the way the stories are presented is very dry and for lack of a better word uninteresting.

The hosts seem unprepared and present the stories half-heartedly a lot of times. This might be mundane for them, but it's not for most people. It contained a restaurant review and I'm nothing even close to a foodie and a Pete rant. It's okay to be opinionated. Don't always try to be the good guy. A show full of good guys is boring.

Simply put, I believe they can do better. Until then, I am still searching for a great and consistent Disneyland Podcast. Good podcast, but get rid of Tony. By A Disney podcast fan. I enjoy listening to dis unplugged podcasts but cringe whenever I have to listen to Tony Spittell speak. He is a poor reviewer and overpowers everyone else whenever he is on a show. I don't understand how he is allowed to be on this show. I listen to these podcasts because they make myself feel good but it's difficult whenever I hear him speak.

I be sure to skip all shows with Tony in them. This is my least favorite Disneyland podcast, mainly because it's not a Disneyland podcast. I only listen to it when I've already listened to all my other shows and I need something to listen to. They upload multiple episodes a week, and I thought part of the reason for that was so they could focus on Disneyland for one show and talk about other topics for the others. During the "Disneyland news" episode every week, they talk about topics completely unrelated to Disney.

This should really be called the "California Attractions Podcast" as they talk about anything and everything they feel like: It does not work on all rides, so FastPass is highly recommended.

Overall Disney has done a very good job of making attractions accessible. Here is a quick list of all the rides I have been on over the years. Some I have added a side note if there is something that will help you have a better experience. I hope you find this quick review of attractions I have been on at Walt Disney World helpful.
