It's just not there. It also should be understood as memoir of Mr. Jaffe's career, and not really a book that sets out to systematically make the case against the death penalty. In spite of that, most reasonable readers could cite the book as evidence that the death penalty needs to be abandoned. In any case, highly readable, enjoyable, and informative read. This book terrified me, really it did! I can only imagine how frightening it would be to be innocent and yet accused of a crime, a crime that if convicted, could result in the death penalty.
