Claimed by the Pack: The Complete Series

Better not tell you what's happening because your mother who hasn't experienced this and is currently on another continent says so, and it's a convenient plot point. Nobody would act like that! Especially since she makes other parenting decisions no problem. The character relationships are pretty bad, as well, and the author relies on her being "attracted" to these people. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 the minimum is because it wasn't as terribly written as some of the other self-published books out there.

This says more about the crap I've read than the quality of this story.

I don't write reviews, I read. I love the original take on werewolf genre here. I love werewolves cause they are sexy, but I think sexy does not mean throbbing members and heaving breasts, I certainly don't like 70 pages of a page novel devoted to erotica when I came for a great original plot. I applaud you for an original thought, I know they are hard to come by. I thank you for characters who were not type casted. Your books were not dumb down, and were fluid.

I like your different take on wolf history and species. I read both of your books and can not wait for the third. I choose young adult paranormal because I hate all the pages I skip to get back to the plot.

  • No I am not a prude, just really happily married to my own fated mate for 35 years and love making and trash can not compare. The story was extremely slow in the beginning. The female lead was kind of annoying and childish to the point of irrationality.

Eric's character was built perfectly. Mysterious, charming, romantic, loyal, etc I wish the story could have been told from his perspective. The book has a great plot, but it just dragged on far too long for me.

The content had potential but this was one of those reads where the whole community knows whats going on, the aunt knows, the mom knows, the old lady down the STREET knows and the reader knows. She thinks the neighborhood is overrun with wolf hybrids, her aunt might have murdered some lady the oth Failure to engage. She thinks the neighborhood is overrun with wolf hybrids, her aunt might have murdered some lady the other night and alcohol makes her sleepwalk and have nightmares. So of COURSE she hides the potential evidence of murder, drinks alcohol at strangers parties and is stupidly smug when she realizes that the lock on her door can't keep her in at night Dead people and agressive monster dogs Everyone keeps hinting at things and she just brushes it off, focusing on partying with the local mean girls.

We have a Darwin award winner here! I think this is fine for the kids into the Twighlight saga or Shiver but it's a little exasperating if you want a story that plays out logically and has engaging characters. I almost finished it and still don't care about any of them She may shift and eat Eric, her aunt may be a murderer and the mean girls may or may not push her in the lake for liking Eric Except maybe to wonder why it took so long.

Jan 13, Vicki rated it liked it Shelves: I liked it but I'm not sure I will look to read more of the series. This is a YA series and I had a real problem with the main female character, Alexis. I just couldn't believe that she was as stupid at times as she was. You would think when people drug your drinks and food and you suspect or find out that as a group they kill people you would choose not to want to be friends with them.
