A very thoughtful book, uncovering the details of reforms brought in or rather tried to be brought in for better condition of Muslim women by a Muslim men, who was killed by his own people. It has left me to think why is the state of Muslim women is as what it is presently. Is Shariat against Muslim women? As professed, if it is a word by God, why would God suggest or even want to have one of its race dominated by other to the extent that it becomes a question mark to humanity. Why is that the great Muslim women leaders like Najma Heptullah failed to support her own sisters in the Parliament when they were introducing the bill to overrule the decision by Supreme court.
