The tour consists of two parts, first you'll walk through the old city and get an idea of how Tbilisi is set up, then you'll go by mini-bus to several brutalistic sites in the suburbs.

The tour was a great highlight of our holiday in Georgia. This has to be the highlight of our stay in Tbilisi. Our guide David took us on an off beat path through the inner courtyards and recently excavated medieval foundations of the central city, then with a taxi to a number of architectural or sculptural monuments made during the socialist period. David was very knowledgeable and passionate about the city and it was impossible not to be infected by his enthusiasm. No drawbacks, I thoroughly recommend going on the tour.
Just take an open and curious mind and some good shoes!
