The first thing she told me was that there was no picture and she looked nonchalant after I read 5 to 6 pages. That night, I was contented that she allowed me to finish the first chapter to her. I wanted her to move to the next reading level but I was thinking I might have failed. However, I was surprised when she took up the book and read herself after she woke up the next day. Anne Digby brought us through how the naughtiest girl - Elizabeth first met her idol Kerry Dane, her disappointment and the reader's sympathy when Kerry brushed her beloved autograph book into the puddle of rainwater, how Elizabeth was outwitted time and again by Kerry Dane, and how she finally "saved" her school Whyteleafe by revealing the true self of Kerry Dane.

A Kid's Review 4. I have a collection of the Naughtiest Girl adventures. It has 3 books in 1. It is about Elizabeth Allen who always gets into trouble for losing her temper and for getting into trouble with the teachers. Anyway, it is a wonderful book in which Enid Blyton wrote about life going to a bording school.

I guarantee you may like this book.

I gave it 2 stars because, when the actual story is flowing, it is decent. The problem is, it just didn't flow often enough. Enjoyed the 5th installment thouroughly!! It was extremely nice to get some background info on what happens to the girls when they are chosen to be sent to Oak Street and how they are trained!

Plenty of steam and defiance, although I wish we had more info on what happened after she was sold. Kind of left us hanging, but filled in some details left out of previous books. I have read all 5 books in order and really hope that there are many more to come with more information and details!! This book had absolutely no sizzle or heat. It was written like a book report whipped up the night before.

So little dialogue it felt like a magazine article repeatedly over explaining a simple concept. I was so angry I wasted time on such a "nothing" story. Actually left me peeved and irritated. The total story could have been reduced to about ten pages of halfway interesting scenes. The heat from this story couldn't keep a match lit. Outraging, intriguing and disappointing This left me feeling outraged and at the same time intrigued, also a little disappointed or perhaps confused would be a better word no I see it's both.

It feels as if I was given the middle of Renee's story. This is the fifth book in this series but it's only the second one I've read in it.

Perhaps if I'd have read the rest of the series it would have made more sense and I'd have a different opinion. As I'm writing this review I'm coming to the conclusion that this is meant to be episodes rather than inclusive parts. I want to say more about this story but I absolutely hate spoilers, so I won't go into details.

Reasons I enjoyed this book: I've put this on Several bookshelves as I'm not sure where it belongs yet. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Good overall story but somewhat lacking in the human touch.
