When Jaycee decided to walk home after his car died, he had no idea his life was about to take a turn for the worst. A stranger attacks him in his own backyard, but Jaycee soon finds out that the man isnt human. Wolf was on the hunt for a hell hound, but found his mate instead, and he was injured by the one very creature whose bite was lethal to humans. Taking his mate home, Wolf worried that Jaycee wouldnt live through the night.
The winged beasts soon find that not only was Wolfs mate in danger of dying, but the king of Zanthar hadn't forgotten about them. He sends his gift in the form of two brimstone demons who are ten feet tall and spit acid. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are books - yikes!
Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned good and bad but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same. Jaycee was fun, although he clearly was cut from the same cloth as, say, Sterling from the book I read before this one. This author sure does love her character types. Which is okay with me as long as she picks the ones I enjoy, like here. While i Not bad. While it is interesting to have original creatures in this spin-off series, I am not particularly happy with the premise of having to have sex with full commitment and everything within forty-eight hours, or death will ensue.

Wolf finally find his mate This is the second book in exiled series, about Wolf and his mate. I thought the plot was great and the characters funny and loveable. I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
