We also had many stitches from bugs when we woke up. A beautiful flat in a peaceful location. You really feel like you are one of the locals. Right next to the station, local shops, restraunts and the seaside. The town is just outside of the city nestled between the sea and mountains which is a welcome break from busy life. Only 35 minutes to the city centre. Marco is a friendly and giving host and was a pleasure to meet. We really enjoyed our stay, the location is great, especially the short walk to the sea. It was a great base for exploring Genova and all the pretty towns along the coastline.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, we stayed with our 2 dogs so the little terrace was ideal. Marco was easy to communicate with and was waiting for us on arrival. We hope to visit again! Our stay in Pieve Ligure was wonderful. The apartment is cozy and has a beautiful terrace, and it is close both to the sea and the town of Bogliasco, which is great for dinner and to have a drink. It is easy to reach by public transport and also makes it easy to go to amazing places like Portofino by train. Marco was very uncomplicated and nice. We would definitely recommend staying at the apartment!

Thank you, Marco, for making this possible for us! The place is perfect size for people. I have nothing but great things to say about Marco. He was a great host and helped us when we needed. Just a few heads up for some: The shower is tiny. So prepare for that. Be prepared for that too. We had an awsome time at Emma's place!

The appartement was lovely and that View!! What to say about Emma's home! This was definitely the highlight of our trip along the French and Italian Riviera.

Emma could not have been a more friendly and accommodating host. She left us with a number of fantastic local tips on local beaches, excursions, and restaurants. About the home, it is beautiful with some of the most fantastic views you'll ever see we took tons of pictures! The garden is also a lovely place to have meal, or read in the shade on the bench and hammock. It's important to note that there are a lot of stairs in Pieve Ligure, and three flights to get to the entrance of Emma's home and apartment complex.

But it was a great way to work up your appetite with some of the best restaurants just a 15 minute walk away. Would highly, highly recommend this home to our friends and family and look forward to coming back again soon! Thanks for the memories Emma! We loved Emma's appartment. Immediately felt like home. Great space, great light, very comfortable. Amazing, marvelous, breathtaking view! Well equipped, modern apartment. Good place for the the people who are not afraid of stairs, perfect for those who like hilly grounds: Our host Emma was very helpful, she provided us good amount of local information where to go.

We spent wonderful time in her apartment. We really had a good time. Very clean and beautiful place to spend the vacation. Emma is really nice and friendly we surly going to come back again. We young family with 6 month old baby boy had a very pleasant stay at Emma's apartment. Emma gave as a very warm welcome.

The apartment has the greatest views of the Golfo Paradiso that you can imagine.

The apartment is very tastefully furnished. Emma also provided valuable tips for things to explore and gave us very useful shopping advise. My only advise is not to get there with a huge car since streets are narrow and street parking limited. For the rest, perfetto: Amazing view from every part of the apartment, nicely decorated, but also hard to reach due to the number of stairs. A lovely little apartment fairly close to Genoa. The listing describes it as being suitable for 4 people as it has two sofa beds but we would say it is only really suitable for a family of four. Parking was an issue and it would have been good to have an internet connection.

Carla was very responsive as a host but sadly we did not meet her as she was unable to greet us and we left early the next day we only stayed for one night. Finding that she had left us milk in the fridge was a real bonus. The flat is really beautiful, clean and cosy. Carla is a great, gave us information how to arrive and about the flat. We did not meet her, but she organized well. The flat is closed to a busy street, bring earplugs for the night nosiy when window open during night.

The flat is min away from trainstation by foot. Beach in the next village Sori. You can reach the sea in 5 minutes but there is no beach. The Host was very kind and welcoming. The flat is cute and nicely furnished, a beautiful view from its Windows. The kitchen is well equipped, so is the rest of the house. The bed was not comfortable, we both got back and neck pain, but for one night is acceptable the ikea beds are sofa's that can be transformed into beds.

There is a small garden with fences where our dog could chill. Finding a parking was awfully hard, in the whole village of Pieve Ligure finding a parking is hard. It's a very nice flat overall! It was a great time on the Liguria seashore. The flat is great, the view from windows is perfect. You can count the stars from the bed. In the flat you can find all what you need, there are all equipments for cooking. It's not so far from the beaches, the nearest beach on rocks is a very beautiful.

There are calm town without crowd. Carla is a helpful and friendly host. She prepared some food for us for start, it was very nice. I hope to return in this place. Carla has a nice place. It was a bit smaller than expected but everything we needed was there. Location is prefect if you don't mind all the stairs to get to te appartement: A good place to stay for a fair price. Beautiful place and location - although it is 40 minutes by train away from Genoa.

Wifi not included in house; yet she brought us her mobile one which was really sweet. The apartment is excellent, Carla was a perfect host - warm, welcoming, helpful - and the flat was just as pictured and described with a splendid overlook on the sea. Quiet and Clean space. We highly recommend staying here and would stay here again during summer period without any hesitation: This is a great apartment, well situated, close to both Genoa and the port towns of Camogli and Portofino.

If you struggle with steps this apartment is not for you but if you are fit and healthy, the views that await you are spectacular and worth the climb. If you are a light sleeper the main road and rail way line nearby can be a bit noisy, but for us this provided perfect access to explore the neighbouring towns and didnt find this a problem at all. The apartment was clean and well stocked. Carla was very kind to provide fresh bread on arrival. No problems with communication prior or during our stay.

Carla is super friendly and it was a pleasure staying at the apartment. We were for the second time at Fabrizios studio and it was again a great week-end! The studio is only a few steps from the sea, great restaurants and all facilities are nearby. It's very easy to communicate with Fabrizio, he's very flexible and friendly. Thank you Fabrizio - till next year! Great views from the apartment and close to some lovely local restaurants.

Ricardo the concierge didn't speak any English and we didn't speak any Italian, but he managed to show us all the facilities lovely swimming pool and deck to sit on with much hand waving and pointing. Off street parking is a plus. Studio was functional, clean, and big enough. Went for a canoe ride on the river, straight out of the private beach, highly recommend it. Even though we brought our own boat. Supermarket close by and typical coffee spot at 5 min walk. I guess it's all good. This place is amazing! The view from the window overlooking the ocean is just fantastic.

The amenities are well appointed with everything you will need for a few days or a week. There is a market right down the street and some great places to see nearby. Fabrizio was very attentive and easy to deal with. His associate, Ricardo was a most gracious host and great help with some of the local flavor.

The only thing missing is wi-fi but only because I wanted to learn and experience more about the area. Make sure you take time to walk the property and experience this amazing villa on the edge of the cliffs. He grew up in that restaurant and will take fantastic care of you.

Tell him I said hi! The location of the house is great. It has also a parking space which is rare in that part of Italy. View from the room is great and you have also direct access to the sea. The house has a electricty system problem. For two complete mornings electricy was off. The house owner recommended us not use water boiler and frying pad at the same time as they consume too much electrity after second time.

We found that response very odd and frustarating. We did not have the chance to meet Fabrizzio in person. Ricardo tried to help us but he doesn't speak english at all. So we had to text to Fabrizzio or his wife so that they translated to him. The hair dryer was not working. So we asked for a spare one. Fabrizzio said that he did'nt have a spare one, he ordered a new one but it would reach only after our vacation.

That was not very helpful. Upon showing our frustration he somehow managed to find a spare one. So, although the house itself is nice, our overall experience was below airbnb standarts. Great little apartment, well heated, clean and everything was very well organized. Ricardo offers easy support. Very nice little apartment, as described. The sea view from the window is amazing. The only issue is related to the sofa-bed, if you are tall like me almost cm.

I definetely reccomend this studio. Pietro's place is amazing and was definitely the best decorated airbnb I've ever been to, filled with souvenirs from his extensive traveling around the world. There were beautiful views, great places to swim and eat and it was very convenient for traveling with a car or taking trains.

We had a great trip and Pietro was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. I hope to come back some day! Pietro and Massimo are amazing hosts and their place is incredible. We loved the views of the sea right from our balcony. We loved the decor and the stories of Pietro's travels and writing. We felt very welcomed and got some much needed rest and relaxation. We also had a very romantic and tasty dinner at the restaurant Pietro recommended.

Overall an amazing experience we would love to revisit and recommend highly. We had such an amazing stay at Pietro's apartment. The view was one of the best I have seen. I could have sat on the balcony for days on end. Unfortunately for us we only stayed one night. Pietro was great with our arrival and helped us secure a booking at a beautiful local restaurant. We had a great time and would not hesitate in recommending this place to our friends.

We are great fans of Airbnb since inception so we have a lot of experience over the years from Colombia to China. But without doubt, Piero and Massimo's wonderful museum style house is an absolute gem. Piero is a great traveller so we had a lot in common. We loved his place and can recommend it unreservedly. The exquisite attention to detail prevails, the many artefacts, the wonderful kg Buddha at the entrance from Burma all exude a sense of tranquility and peace. A place apart senza dubio come diciamo in italiano.

His lifelong collections and beautiful scenery of Mediterranean Sea gave me inspiration of what life is and how I should live. That was just more than having a good rest and relaxing. I realized the environment we create strongly influences our own life in return, and this is why we should take good care of our place. I want to thank him for sharing his experience with us through his collections and his taste in decorations, as well as for his kindness and hospitality.

This is one of the best places we have stayed. Pietro is an amazing host. He gave us recommendations for restaurants, places to swim, and directions to all the places we wanted to visit. He was even kind enough to make reservations for dinner for us. The house is beautiful inside and out and the view cannot be beat. We will certainly be back and would recommend this place to anyone. If you want to go to Portofino this is a perfect place to stay- it's not as busy but close enough to drive or take the train. This is a stunning apartment with a gorgeous view of the sea. The space is full of beautiful antiques, it has a patio, a wonderful porch, a small kitchen, and best of all, Pietro was fabulous at helping us get around.

We chose this location because we could easily access the ocean and surrounding areas. We were interested in quieter beaches and nice hikes. Pietro is really an expert on helping people find what we were looking for. He's written travel guides all over the world! We took a fantastic hike which ended at a remote beach which is only accessible by hiking or boat. We had a lovely lunch at the beach yes there are a handful of restaurants there then we took the boat back. He also gave us a great amount of guidance for our day in Genoa. Thank you thank you thank you!! I hope that we have a chance to reconnect again!

Like many of the previous reviews, Pietro's home is absolutely lovely. They are in a great location in a beautiful town that is absolutely worth visiting. Pietro was absolutely lovely from the moment of check-in until we departed. We arrived slightly early and they were home to greet us with open arms. They helped us with our luggage and finding a place to park right in front of their property. Their home is absolutely stunning seriously, I want to live there forever with your own garden area as well as views from the main room out onto the Mediterranean Sea. In speaking with Pietro, he told us tales of all his travel, took us through his travel books he writes them , especially for the one in the area - giving us tips on places to visit that the common tourist would miss.

I look forward to the day of being able to come back to his home. Patricia was very good at communicating and helping us get in to her home. The location of her home is beyond amazing. Patrizia and her husband have been really kind to us. Their flat is confortable and cosy and inside they thought of everything. This has a nice view, one minute for the beach. Sori is a quiet little village good to stay. Thank you for everything. Patrizia and her husband were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is very nice and the view really wonderful.

The place is very close to the beach with amazing views to the sea. It is cosy and it has all you need for a long stay. A well equipped kitchen and bathroom with a hairdryer washing machine and iron available. Patrizia and Luigi are very friendly and helpful, they showed us around and gave helpful information about the area and parking. The neighbourhood is very warm and friendly and the pizza is lovely at the "La Battegia". And the beach is fantastic with very clear water and not very crowded. We woud definitely go back. The apartment is cosy, clean and nice. A view from the window is absolutely breathtaking.

You live some steps from the sea and beach! With Patrizia is easy to communicate, she was asking during the stay how are we and is everything ok. In apartment is everything you need. Only thing that bothered us was WiFi. For us was very important that place has its internet connection. In the description is was said that there is WiFi but actually it was one spot near the window where was public internet.

Italy, Italians, Italian Culture, Places, Food… and American culture from an Italian perspective

It would not have problem but it was limited 2 hours per day and quite slow. But if you dont need it, the place is great! The appartement is wonderful: Cosy furniture, very close to the ocean and extraordinary hosts! They came to help and catch us when we arrived at the station and even gave us a lift to Genova when we had to catch our train back home.

We felt very welcome and had a good time in the appartement in Sori. The only disadvantage concerning travelling by train with kids and a stroller are the steps at the station no elevator in Sori and man other stations along the coast. We were 3 persons and really enjoyed our holiday in Sori. The flat was suitable for us and is located 1 minute to the beach. In Sori you can find everything you need: For train tickets, please go to the "Tabacchi" - there is no ticket machine at the train station itself.

There is free parking in Sori about minutes from the flat - depending on the parking situation Sometimes we had to search a little while for it, but found one every time in the end ; Sori is a nice starting point for trips to Genova, Cinque Terre, Portofino, La Spezia or other sights. The contact with Patrizia was very friendly.

She was also helpful for general questions and gave us a great idea how to drive to Genova by car over the mountains. There we had a nice view: Thanks again for the holiday: The view from the terrace is truly breathtaking. It was such a great place to relax, Silvia was a great host, very friendly and there was fresh fruit and little touches that made the experience that much more special.

Also great food in the neighbourhood. I hope to be able to return again. We spent 7 days in the flat and enjoyed every second of it ;-. Communication before and during the stay was very quick and detailed. This way we could learn about a couple of events and services in the area beforehand. We were also offered transport to and from the train station, which was very helpful! Conversation in english was not a problem. The flat itself proved to be a bit spacier than what you would expect from the pictures.

On top of the house you can find the roof terrace which reveals an absolutely stunning view across the Ligurian coast. One should mention that the house is situated directly above the train tracks which can be a bit straining if you tend to have a light sleep. Towels and bed cloths were provided, you can also find a washing machine. We had a great time in Liguria and enjoyed our stay in our holiday home which proved to be the perfect choice for us!

The view is amazing and the location ideal for a relaxing stay on the Ligurian coast. The apartment has everything you need - Silvia has thought of it all. The apartment is spotlessly clean, well kept and perfectly located. There is a supermarket nearby and there are many options for swimming in the Mediterranean just a short stroll down to the water.

Silvia is a great host and her parents and aunt were also very hospitable. This was one of our best AirBnB experiences and we will definitely be returning to what we feel is our newfound Ligurian home away from home! We had a wonderful time at Silvias place! Even though the pictures already looked nice, the apartment was even better than expected.

We found everything we needed and the views from the rooftop terrace were simply stunning. Silvia and her co-hosts especially her lovely mom did everything possible to make our stay even more pleasant. It couldn't have been any better - grazie per tutto! What a dream it was to stay in this beautiful space. We spent our time on the wide terrace set on top of the sea, gazing across the wide blue horizon with a glass of sweet Lambrusco beneath the flashing Italian sun. The supermarket is but a short walk away from where to bring back plump tomatoes and fresh cheese to make a salad, and across the road is the best pizzeria in Liguria - La Lampara - they are masters of the craft there.

The house is designed so that at all levels the sea seems just an arm's length away, where the windows open wide to let in the warm and fresh sea air. The house was spotlessly clean, contained all of the amenities that one would wish for, and is located a short walk from Pontetto and Pieve Ligure train stations. When next we return to Genova we will now only stay in this magnificent house atop the endlessly-blue Ligurian Sea, because there is nowhere finer to spend time with family and loved ones.

Silvia's appartment in Pieve Ligure is a real treat. It is a very well designed two-storey, overlooking the little creek of Pieve, situated halfway between the train stations of Pontetto and Pieve Ligure. I give full five-stars to the wonderful rooftop terrazza and the air conditionning. I have spent hours admiring the panorama over the sea, as well as the amazing but inaccessible garden and villa situated on the capo, right in front of me, illuminated at night, like a dream place full of signals from the past The railway running at the foot of the house was no problem for us.

On the contrary, I found Its presence rather poetic. It is also when we went swimming in the little creek, going down a narrow scaletta serpenting between villas and gardens that I fully realised the beauty of the place, with the train on a first level corniche and the houses on the top level. We already knew Genova quite well, and took the train down to Stazione Principe only twice. We were kindly received by Paola, who's Silvia's mother.

Paola made everything perfectly allright. She brought extra kitchen utensils on demand and gave us a very convenient parking pass for our car. Tornaremo nella vostra casa, perche gia noi manca! Very beautiful apartment, best view ever! Thank you very much for everything. Glad to come back next summer. Valentina is an absolutely brilliant host. The check-in was well organized and she gave us really good recommendations of where to eat and what to discover.

The appartement is in the centre of sori and close to the beach. It contains everything that is needed. A very nice apartemnt in the hart of Sori. The private parking place is also a plus. Unfortunatley we arrived really late, but was no problem for Valentina. We would go there agin at the next time also. Great apparment and great value for money. Owner is very Nice and adequate and good communications. Sori is a really grat place to stay, Nice waves in the see and good restaurants and Nice shop for food.

Very good parking space and live like a local is so Nice to do. Close to Nice towns easy with the train. Valentina's flat is great situated, two minutes from the beach in Sori, to shops, reastaurants, 8 minutes to railway station. The flat is well equipped, interesting, in old building but with new and modern furnitures. It was beautiful, quiet and in the heart of the town of Sori thanks for the meeting and recommendations.

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Valentinas place. Sori is such a beautiful village on the coast. We stayed two nights and had such fun walking on the coast, experience the sea and taking walks though the valley. Genua is half an hour away so it wasn't a big hussle to see the big city too. Also it was nice to use the private parking lot Valentina offered.

We can absolutly recommend Valentinas places and the sweet place Sori! The apartment is beautiful and offers everything you need. The typical Italian village is located on a hill and the view down the hill on the sea is amazing. There is a private part of the garden belonging to the apartment, where nobody is disturbing. The area around Pieve Ligure is great to discover. There is no typical beach in Pieve Ligure but a platform with access to the sea, the water is so clear!

The way down and up again is short but quite a workout, walking all these stairs. I loved it and will definitely come back!! What a beautiful place Laura's house is. The house located amongst the quiet hills surrounding the Mediterranean, gives a real feel of escape. The slow paced lifestyle is contagious and friendly locals aplenty. The views are incredible, whether looking over the town or the turquoise Mediterranean its a view we spent hours staring at.

The sea is walk away, shops 30 minutes a small shop is open in the morning 5 minutes away. Laura's house is a real gem and one that I wouldn't hesitate to stay in again if the opportunity ever occured. Beware however that those of poor fitness will struggle with the hills, unless you have a car but what's the fun in that.

Fitness lovers will get a crazy workout! We had a wonderful time at this great accommodation with an amazing view. Laura and her husband Maurizio were so helpful and friendly! The room itself is also completely equipped with everything you might need for the stay and absolutely clean. We would definitely come back! Laura's place is a charming apartment high up in the hills with an incredible view of the coastline. It has a lovely little garden and patio to sit out in and enjoy the view.

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a very comfy bed. Laura and her husband met us at check in and were very hospitable hosts - they gave us lots of info on the surrounding area and a very helpful map on how to walk down to the sea there are lots of steps but it is definitely worth it! The area is beautiful with some charming towns - we particularly liked Camogli and the Med is a dream to swim in. Would definitely recommend the area and Laura's apartment. Thank you for a lovely stay. Great stay in Laura and Maurizio's home! The site is very beautiful, with a big view on the sea, a lovely garden, and decorated with a great and rare deal of taste.

Laura and Maurizio are adorable. We had a lovely stay at Laura and Maurizio's place. It is a beautiful room with an amazing view! Maurizio met us at our car to help us find a parking spot and to bring our backs up to the house. He settled us in and offered suggestions of local places to eat. There were also basic food items available to us in the apartment. We very much enjoyed walking on the foot paths and discovering the area. It is easily accessible to Genoa and Cinque Terra. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Emanuele's place was lovely and located in a calm and cozy town. It is located in the mountains on the Ligurian coast, that gave wonderful views when driving back and forth from the house. It was very clean and cozy. The only downside which is not specific to this location is that the houses there tends to be built with thick walls so phone reception in the house is limited. Although it was a surprise, was nice to disconnect for a bit in the lovely area.

Would definitely recommend Emanuele's place for others! Perched high on the hill overlooking the sea. Hosts were amazing, and very helpful. Plenty of transportation options, and parking was good when we drove. There is a little market and bakery just a few minutes walk away. Great stay, and would definitely stay there again! Apparently recently reconstructed flat with well equipped modern kitchen. Sleeping bed is a sofa bed right behind the entrance door. The bedroom is quite dark the only source of natural light is the door. The house is less than half an hour from the Sori beach but the terrain is a bit challenging with many stairs.

The parking place is quite distant, but it is possible to leave the car at the nearby parking for free. Our stay was pleasant, the owners were on the phone whenever we needed something. The beautiful little flat is between the two villages Pieve Ligure and Sori. We came there by train and Emanuele's wife picked us up at the station, which is very hospitable. They recommended us nice spots in the region e. The appartment very good equipped washing machine, but kitchen without oven. The communication was very good and we would come back in this nice region!

Casa perfetta, accessoriata di tutto. Emanuele e famigliari sono molto simpatici, flessibili e con un atteggiamento molto disponibile, simpatico e attento. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza. The person who waited for us was very nice and the place was perfect: We would definitely recommend and come back! I had a nice stay in Bogliasco. The apartment has a beautiful view of the town and Mediterranean.

The apartment is roomy and clean. There were a couple issues with the TV and washing machine that weren't resolved the property is managed by a firm, not the owner , but I quickly forgot about that as I ventured out and enjoyed the Italian Riviera. Close to Genova and a little over an hour to La Spezia, the location worked out well. Beautiful apartment and location. Nice service and easy check-in. Complete kitchen except from a pair of scissors and washing-up liquid. The cleaning could have been a bit better but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice and spacious flat. You can hear the cars from the streets nearby but: Sitting on that balcony eating radiatoris, trinking coffee, chatting or reading, watching the huge ships from far, that was awesome. Spacious flat with a nice view. We were very good welcomed by Nino. However, it missed some casual equipments dishes, napkins, Very nice view over town and sea but state of furniture is worn out except for kitchen that is renovated.

Wifi did not have credit and we said it did not work. Even after complaint it did not work. It was too slow. Salt and pepper not there despite is named in amenities. We would have bought for our dinner. Some outlets did not work. TV did not work. Air conditioner is not in bedroom. The warm air got into the bedroom.

We had to move the mattress to the living room to sleep as it was too hot. Very noisy due to train and high way. This space was amazing. We absolutely loved it. There was a washing machine which was a huge plus for us. The host was super helpful with us and helped with any questions. The town was stunning and very quaint plus easy to get to the train on foot from the Airbnb. The view was beautiful. Fantastic accommodation with a wonderful view of the coast. The walk up the hill with our luggage was no problem and Michaela Filippo's mum was very friendly, helpful and attentive.

Thanks for your hospitality. Overall the place is okay, the pool was unusable. It was dirty and full of grime. The pool is a stand above ground pool in a very untidy 'garden'. The bathroom needs a complete revamp. It's small, cramped and the shower is horrendous.

It was so wonderful time at Solaria hosted by Filippo and his Mom - friendly and helpful people. Room standard was even better than expected. The view was gorgeous. We admit every day that the place was a perfect choice. Sori is not a tourist location so for us a big advantage. But it is close to any wish list destination. We even had our own beach on the rocks. We are recommending the place from the bottom of our hearts. However be adviced that the place is for trekking lovers - it takes 5 minutes walk up the hill ; But we loved the way long.

Thank you Filippo and Michela! Fantastic situated near centre in Rome , very nice running from appartment to colosseum and other fantastic buildings. Lovely environment and Filippo and his mother are excellent hosts! If you wish they show you some great spots to eat, swim and trips to experience the coast of Liguria. We received a warm welcome from the mother of Filippo, Michaela. She even picked us up at the station.

The location is wunderfull and the views awesome! Si raggiunge attraverso una salita, assolutamente accessibile a tutti, tipica ligure. Hi, thanks for everything, it was an amazing holiday, I would have loved to stay longer. Marco is still at our service anytime. Amazing region, I would love to come back, I recommend it. Excellent apartment and thank you for the dog. The place is truly great. It's clean and modern. Marcello was very helpful with instructions. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you have anything bigger than a VW Golf, you are pretty much forced to find a parking spot elsewhere, since the street is very steep and narrow.

Marcello's place is very well located- ideal for visiting towns like Portofino or Camogli.

1 dicembre 2012

The apartment has a private parking which is a great plus if you are coming by car. Marcello was very quick to reply to our messages and answered all our questions. On the negative side, there was no wifi in the apartment and the pipe in the kitchen kept leaking and flooding the kitchen floor. I didn't meet Marcello Since we arrived late, he kept in touch all the time. The only problem we found was that there was no internet connection at all. The host was unavailable to greet us upon arrival or come by to even check. We did not have wifi the whole trip because the host said they did not fix it due to bad weather conditions mind you the weather was perfect - sunny We had very little information about the area and was struggling due to no wifi or information from host.

He didn't seem to care much when we raised the issue. Did not see him when we checked out as well. Overall stay was alright apart from the host! Everything was great, but appartments were not clean enough. Marcello is an awesome host. Always keeps connection with his tenants. Overall speaking everything was good. We especially loved the location, as it is just a 5 min walk from the beach and within a driving distance 10 min of many small and bigger towns.

The appartment itself was big enough for the three of us, the only little inconvenience was the lack of airco in the bedroom. But overall we had a good stay and the communication with Marcello was quick and clear from the moment that we arrived at his place until our departure. Magnifique et inoubliable ce sejour chez Paola! Definitely our best holiday by far.

It was beyond all our expectations. Such a beautiful lifetime expreience. We couldn't ask for anything more. We are so blessed to have had this opportunity to live for a week in this little corner of paradise! Amazing nature and mindblowing cities. It is super calm and quiet there, so you can sleep like a baby.

See is near by, only 10 min and you can choose betwen a beautifl wild beach with rocks or a public beach with all the equipments and little beach bars. Neer the beach there is also shops and restaurants and even the train and bus station is not far. So just the perfect location. But of course it is mostly the attitude and friendship that was the greatest part! We loved our hosts! They have great senses of humor and are the most kind and hospitable people you will ever meet.

Just the sweatest familly!

Focaccia alla genovese

I just can't wait to take my family and friends there. We will miss them and the cat! This beautiful old tower, turned into a lovely home had an amazing view over the ocean. We were picked up at the station Pieve Ligure, by our great hosts, who made us feel right at home. Our breakfast under the kiwi tree with home made jam was an great start of our vacation!

Would love to come back one day! We just loved this place and the warm welcome! The location is nice and quiet with a beautiful garden with own fruits and vegetables. We really advise this place for everyone, you feel directly at home with the most friendly hosts: Paola and Marcello are really helpful and pay attention to be sure you make the most of your stay.

The house offers an exceptional view over the coast and the garden is a perfect place to have some rest. We really recommend to stay at their place if you wish to be in a beautiful but not caotic village just few minutes away from Camogli and Portofino. Paola and Marcello are perfect hosts, very helpful. Their House Was like our home. It Was quiet and we had a very beautiful view to the sea. It is on the route sentiere liguria. We are thanking Everything. This is a tricky review because the experience we had staying with Paola and Marcello was unforgettable, but for reasons that may be specific to us.

The place is completely unique - you're staying in what used to be a lookout tower. There are some potential inconveniences mainly the dimensions of the room and bathroom , but depending on your attitude, those might be positives - they certainly were for us - it just added to the cachet. The house is certainly clean enough, but of course, this is their home, so it's lived in which is hopefully what you expect with airbnb. For us, the best part was how well we connected with Paola, Marcello and even their daughter.

This was one of the nicest families we've ever met. Paola's personality is truly one-of-a-kind and to try and describe the moments we shared wouldn't really do them justice. Oh yeah, and the breakfast was awesome and their property is beautiful. The only thing that bugged us was that Hidden by Airbnb Maps isn't going to get you right to their place. Instead, it will bring you to a church, which is up the hill from where they live, and it's not really all that easy to figure out where to go. Fortunately, they are super easy to communicate with, and they'll help you out.

I would avoid arriving here to check in after dark though - i think that would be a bigger challenge. Paola and Marcello are the most wonderful hosts. Very kind and attentive. The room has a beautiful sea view with an attached bathroom.
