I'm More in love with Flynn Now and i really hope he makes more appearances in the next book.. And Mercy if Flynn died because you didn't do the deed.. Sep 22, Suzanne rated it it was amazing Shelves: Spoilers for previous books Angel of Mercy was probably my most anticipated book this year, after Waiting for Mercy ended on quite the cliffhanger, and it was so worth the wait.

It brought out all kinds of emotions within me, and completely shocked me to my core. I was just numb when I finished. It begins two weeks after WFM left off. Mercy is sitting her SAT's and just can't concentrate, still hung up on the fact that Flynn almost died. I was so glad to see him up and about, and really enjoyed o Spoilers for previous books Angel of Mercy was probably my most anticipated book this year, after Waiting for Mercy ended on quite the cliffhanger, and it was so worth the wait.

I was so glad to see him up and about, and really enjoyed our first encounter back into their antagonism. But as the book continued, it was plain to see that Flynn had changed. Gone was the happy go lucky guy I loved, and in his place was a guy who was seriously hurting and trying to hide it by being mean. He's also not recovering from his injury, which with his incubus healing, should be gone by now. I felt the tone of this book was darker than the previous two.

There are several attempts on Mercy's life by the hunters, and things are not helped by Sara, who spreads her discord throughout the house, and tries to break up Luke and Mercy. Mercy's mother turns completely against Luke, and everyone else it seems when Mercy finds herself living back in her old house with her mother, away from Flynn and David.

Sebastian unfortunately doesn't spend too much time with us in this book, and I'm really curious as to what he was up to. But there's a tie in apparently with one of Shannon's other series, and we can find out there. I really need to get around to picking up Alliance. There was an interesting revelation about him made by Mercy's mother though which was quite juicy. As usual, with these books, there's a lot goes on. Mercy is kept in the dark by her mother about of a lot of stuff, and the reader is also left shrouded in this mystery, but I felt we found out a lot of interesting stuff in this one, and now with mention of a prophecy too, I'm so intrigued.

Events leading up to the ending of this book just turned my emotions upside down and left me shocked and stunned. And while Shannon had told us it was going to happen to someone, I still felt like I'd been hit by a truck when it did. I so wasn't ready for it. I feel people have been changed in ways that can't be undone, leaving me to think that the tone of book 4, may become darker yet.

I am constantly heart broken. The end of this book seriously ravaged me. Later in life I would realize I just wanted the "Disney ending". Love should conquer all right? I started to really dislike her in the middle of book. Anyway, still I would love to read next book and find out what happens next Thank you Shannon for writing this series. Comment dtd July 19, ' I couldn't wait one year for the next book. I know Shannon will make is awesome! Nov 02, Christina rated it it was ok Shelves: To tell you the truth, I read this book because of Flynn.

I had to know what happened after how book two ended and the heartbreaking scene. I don't really love this series. The only reason I'm even continuing it is, of course, Flynn. Flynn, to me, is the most real out of all the characters. I'm not say this because he may be good looking with the bad boy attitude as all.

I'm saying this because I believe Flynn is real in everything he says and does. But he is also really stupid in falling To tell you the truth, I read this book because of Flynn. But he is also really stupid in falling for annoying, stupid Mercy. I particularly have ZERO clue as to why there are so many guys after her. Granted, some are after her for self gain but to actually garner feelings for? I don't get it. Every time I see Mercy having to choose between Luke and Flynn I think you can have Luke, I'll bond with Flynn and keep all your messed up head case and horrible decision making for yourself.

She just irks me throughout the whole series! I really thought Angel of Mercy was going to be the last book. I was hoping and praying that Mercy would get her head out of her butt and choose the right guy and actually did something right other than putting everyone in trouble. All she kept doing was crying, yelling, getting angry, not paying attention and getting herself in the worst situations possible. Every spelling mistake and grammatical error made on every single page made me want to chuck my Kindle across the room and burn it to ash and bang my head against the wall until I ended up with a concussion.

I am just a little peeved as to why this series is continuing. If you cut out all of Mercy's bad decisions and nonsense and all the scenes she is left crying, getting angry and all the times she misjudges herself throughout the book, that half could have been used to actually finish the series. Oct 20, Nicole rated it it was amazing Shelves: Deadish maybe but not dead. I thought I was ready for this, but But not without some hurdles.

And Shannon took her friggin time telling me. And then when we do find out, it was in a most anticlimactic fashion. The book started off slow and there was a lot of the same ol same ol, i. It was the feels. Mercy finally chooses a guy. And ok, a little part of me loved the tangled web that the connections between Mercy and the other 2 guys wove. A very evil part. The feels won me over. Shannon had me alternately laughing, crying, screaming and fanning myself. I love each and every one of the boys, and even Mercy.

Gone is the soft, timid damsel in distress that has been Mercy Moore. View all 3 comments. Aug 27, Tiffany rated it it was amazing Shelves: I am in awe of how Shannon tops each book she writes in this series. Another addicting and sexy addition. Shannon Dermott's Cambions Series has become one of my all time favourites. With each book in the series, Shannon weaves together scorching sexual tension, hot romance, a cast of unforgettable characters, and a mind-blowing plot. The Cambions Series books are unputdownable and Angel of Mercy is no exception.

I love the characters in this series. Mercy is so real. She makes mistakes and deals with what her crazy life throws at her so well. She is probably one of my all time favourite heroines. Flynn, Luke, Sebastion, and Paul. I love each one of them but Flynn is my ultimate choice for Mercy. I'm really hoping to get a HEA with him! He is the ultimate bad boy with a heart.

Swoonworthy to a fault! Shannon is also a queen of cliffhangers! I think I might still be in shock! But I trust that everything does happen for a reason! This book is phenomenal, as with the others, and if you haven't read this series then you seriously need to grab Beg for Mercy and start.

Angel of Mercy

You won't regret it! Apr 26, Wajiha rated it really liked it Shelves: I so want these two to end up together! And I loved Flynn's Shirts! Shook with anger- I was livid. Never wanted it to end, but fought to keep from racing to the 'finish line' of the book. My poor love pentagram I received a gifted eBook from the author in exchange for an honest review. My thoughts are my own.

Nov 06, Sonya Kaye rated it it was amazing Shelves: This book was sweet agony. I honestly can't stop analyzing all the characters actions and trying to predict why they did what they did. That's what I love most about AOM, it grabbed me by the heart and hasn't let me go yet! I would give it 10 stars. Dec 07, Holly rated it really liked it Shelves: Book 3 picks up two weeks after the horrible events that occurred where book 2 ended.

Mercy is sitting in a classroom on a Saturday taking the SAT test but not being able to concentrate on the task at hand due to the memories that come flooding back. All because of a word on the test, a word that she said against Flynn upon the first time meeting him, licentious.

Fans of the series will well remember that Mercy used word of the day apps on her phone in preparation of the SAT tests. Her goal Book 3 picks up two weeks after the horrible events that occurred where book 2 ended.

Her goal was to use that word in a sentence each day. Life for Mercy seems pretty bleak and depressing. There are still 3 very gorgeous guys who have strong feelings for Mercy. However, she feels vastly different toward each of them. Luke is her home, he makes her want to be a better person. And it wasn't the place as much as it was him. Sebastian however, being full demon, calls to her darker nature and her darker nature is all too willing to respond. No, he gifted Sebastian with a dollop of sugar, gobs of spice, and all things that made him really nice to look at.

However demon hunters have now become a problem and Mercy and her friends have to face this added complication as well. As much as I love this series and I really love Luke, Flynn and Sebastian, I have to admit that the back and forth between Luke and Mercy got a bit old throughout this book. The weird vagueness and non-answers throughout most of the book started to annoy me.

Though at the end there were some answers given, a whole lot more questions arose. I don't normally criticize grammatical errors in my reviews, but I will mention just briefly that this book seemed to have a lot of them to the point of making me frustrated while reading.

  • Lucky Lindy and Lady Lindy: The Lives and Legacies of Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart.
  • theranchhands.com - Google Документы.
  • .
  • Come sasso nella corrente (Scrittori italiani e stranieri) (Italian Edition).
  • For Love or Money: Indians and Cowgirls Vol. 2 (Nonios Quick as Light Series).

That frustration in no way however played a part in my final rating. Overall I did enjoy it, despite some annoyances I had which are quite honestly just a personal preference issue. The ending left me angry And I'm highly trusting the author, who said to her readers when giving the ARC out to "trust her" and that "everything happens for a reason. Don't let us down!

There was no denial in that. The other boy, the lost one, had my feelings muddled. Could one person love two boys?

There is no one but you. You are unique and rare, there isn't another like you. You hold me together. And it is with your love that I exist. Aug 13, Brittany rated it it was amazing Shelves: Literally, just stick me in the microwave on high then stick an bloody fork in me. I have so many emotions for this book I don't think a shrink has the time for me in the wee hours of the morning to help me recover from the end Not only that, but the maze becomes clear, and everyone has more invested in Mercy that she first beli I can't.

Not only that, but the maze becomes clear, and everyone has more invested in Mercy that she first believes. Lies are unraveled, secrets are announced As I write this, I'm having a difficult time not blurting out Team Flynn ever other word. And as originally suspected, the games get deeper, stakes much higher, and you almost feel like dawn is in sight, when the wind gets knocked out of our sails!

And can we talk about the ending!!!

See a Problem?

Never saw it coming, wishing it would happen, the fan girl inside of me died and went to Cambion heaven! All I can say during the overwhelming sensation of cracking open a bottle of wine and reminiscing over the new hurtles for Mercy, I just wish I had a cute non-blood related bother I could share my time with This book doesn't disappoint, you understand everyone's motives just a little bit more, and Mercy begins to see the real danger her choices have put her in.

Then again, she marches to her own drum, and frankly, I'm on pins and freakin' needles with curiosity, she's managed to make it this far nearly unscathed. The Cambions series doesn't disappoint, and I'm sitting pretty for more!! If you haven't picked these up yet, might as well drown yourself in a shallow puddle for denying yourself the simplest pleasures in life, like Flynn's sexy sarcasm and rude gestures that leave you wanting more. Sep 09, Teiamarie rated it really liked it Shelves: I really enjoyed this book! I just love Shannon Dermott's ability to weave an intriguing story!

A couple of things kept me from awarding five stars though. First, this editor has got to go! The errors weren't nearly as numerous as the first two books but there were still a lot of dropped words, misused words and incorrect spellings and tenses. Punctuation was a little shoddy too.

Angel of Mercy (Cambion, #3) by Shannon Dermott

I am, by far, no expert and I'm used to it but I think her books would appeal to so many more people if she could get the series cleaned up. Second, I kind of felt like I was waiting for the shoe to drop during most of the story, that shoe being the truth about Mercy's purpose. I mean, I know we heard it from Luke towards the beginning of AOM but I'm trying to put it into context with everything else that's going on and it just doesn't fit at least not yet! Now, for what I love!

Or Mercy's harem, as I like to think of them as. I have been a solid Luke fan from the start but this new dimension to his personality had me swinging between Flynn and Sebastian! All the guys were written so perfectly that I have these perfect beautiful visions of them in my head! While the thought of an angel boyfriend is just heavenly I think I'd prefer the intoxicating Flynn for myself! He's delicious and naughty but his maturity level leaves one wanting. Ok, so he'd be great for a romp. Definitely my pick when it comes to FWBs! Mercy kind of got on my nerves at times but I think it's because she didn't fight back or play dirty to defend her territory!

All those dirty little skanks who hit on her boyfriend needed to be judo chopped in the throat! Luke deserved a ball tap too for doing nothing to stop it! At this point, I jumped ship on Team Luke. I'm hoping that Angel boy redeem's himself in the next book! I think part of my mixed feelings over the story in general are due to the ending. I don't want to give anything away but my jaw literally hit the floor the fact that I was reading while lying on my stomach has nothing to do with that either!

This is your chance Luke! Aug 04, Paige rated it it was amazing. I just finished and have no idea where to start with a review. I'm need to collect my thoughts, look at my notes from reading, then get back with my official review. Being so eager for the release of this book, I flew through it quite fast and wanted to reread it before I put together a more coherent review I can easily say that Shannon did not disappoint with this installment of the Cambion series!

Reward Yourself

Mercy's story continued with even more plot twists a Wow, yet again! Mercy's story continued with even more plot twists and a plentiful amount of "pulling our heartstrings. As I was constantly reminded of how much I love him and why he is such a great match for Mercy. While Mercy herself, baffled and surprised me with some of her choices. As emotions ran high and some scenes didn't pan out as I had hoped due to my character favoritism , I know I wouldn't be as enticed if there weren't these dilemmas and multiple love interests to keep me on the edge of my seat.

It was an excellent read; loved it! Based off of how this book went, I am still not quite sure how the story will turn out. With a story that continues to grow and surprise me with each installment, I need to find out what happens next! As Shannon has known how she wants to story to end up, since early on, I am extremely excited and ready to see where she will take us!

It kind of saddens me to know that there is an end coming though; continuously hooked in and wanting more! Luckily we have Shannon's much loved POVs and bonus scenes to carry us through the time between book installments. They tie in more parts to the whole story and give us even more insight to the individual characters! I just finished the last page of this phenomenal book and OMG did i love it!
