The passage gives both the reason for his fall and the results. The only time this could have been true of Satan was before the days of Adam, thus proving a pre- Adamite world. It was desolate and empty. The heavens had no light, the hills and mountains were undergoing convulsions, and there was neither man, bird, animal, nor fruitful place; no city was left standing because of God's fierce anger. The only way Jeremiah could have seen the earth "without form and void" was in the same way that Moses saw it thus, as recorded by him in Gen.
There never has been a time from Adam until now when the earth was in such a state-- not even at the time of Noah's flood-- and there will never be a time of such a curse in the eternal future. The only time Jer. Regarding the future, this will never be the condition of the earth again, because at His second coming Christ will begin to reign over all nations on earth forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end Gen.
Even the renovation of heaven and earth at the end of the Millennium will not make the earth desolate as pictured in Gen. When did he fall? Before Adam's time, because he was already a fallen creature when he came into Adam's Eden Gen.
Chapter 24 – The Biblical Truth of the Pre-Adamic Age
Why did he fall? Because of pride and wanting to exalt his earthly kingdom above God's Isa. What was the result of his fall? All of Satan's earthly subjects as well as over one third of God's own angels fell with him Rev. Jesus further taught the overthrow of the pre- Adamite world by plainly stating that the world had been overthrown. Katabole should have been translated "overthrow" or "casting down of the world" in Mt.
With the exception of Heb. Katabole G is not the ordinary word for founding or foundation.
Does the Bible say anything about a pre-Adamic race?
A reference to the founding of the world would require the use of themelios G , as in Lk. Themelios is never used with kosmos G , social system. The verb, themelioo G , occurs in Mt. Katabole G , therefore, means the disruption, overthrow, or ruin of the social system before Adam. Paul also taught the overthrow of the pre- Adamite world Eph. It shouldn't be difficult to believe that Lucifer was given one of these thrones and a kingdom to rule over, before he fell. That his kingdom was on earth in a pre- Adamite period is indicated by the fact that he returned to the earth after the renovation and brought about the downfall of the new ruler, Adam.
Why all this desire to usurp man's dominion on earth if the earth was not at one time Lucifer's place of rulership? Even his eternal punishment will be in the lake of fire under the earth, which further connects his sin with the earth-- and when else could that have been but at the time of a pre- Adamite world? Contrasting "the world that then was" with the heavens and the earth "which are now" Peter spoke clearly of a social system overthrown before Adam, 2 Pet. John also referred to the overthrow of the pre- Adamite world, Rev. There is no statement here that names have been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, but that the Lamb was planned to be slain from this time Rev.
Thus, it is clear that both the Old Testament and the New Testament give proof of a pre- Adamite world. Scientific findings of prehistoric animals and human beings, the age of the earth, and other facts are consistent with the Biblical revelation of a pre- Adamite social system. There are many questions which cannot be answered apart from a belief in the pre- Adamite age. How did Lucifer become the devil and the prince of demons? When did he weaken the nations, ascend into heaven to exalt his throne above the stars, and fall from heaven as in Isa.
How did demons originate, for what purpose, and when? What caused the calamity of Gen. Why was hell prepared for the devil and his angels as stated in Mt.

Why was Adam told to "replenish" the earth and not merely to plenish it? These and other questions go unanswered apart from a belief in the pre- Adamite world. Notice that Jeremiah saw the whole earth in a state of tohuw and bohuw , which means a chaotic, wasted and ruined state. Let us now read the next five verses, Jeremiah 4: This age-gap is the Pre-Adamic Age. Please understand that the Pre-Adamic Age consisted of two long periods of time, which together would have been millions of years.

During the first long period of time, the earth was a beautiful Garden of Eden as first created in the beginning when the angels rejoiced over it. We have shown from Scripture that the Pre-Adamic earth was destroyed because of the sins of angels. However, God understood right from the beginning, before He created the universe and the earth, that this would happen because God is all knowing and He knows the end from the beginning. God created the first man, Adam, at the beginning of the Second Age when God renewed the earth and its atmosphere in the six-day creation week. Young Earth Creationists confuse the beginning of the Pre-Adamic Age, which happened many millions of years ago with the beginning of the Adamic Age, which happened only approximately six-ten thousand years ago.
The Adamic Age started about six-ten thousand years ago. As we have shown, the original beautiful Garden of Eden earth of Genesis 1: So the evening and the morning were the first day. We know for certain that the sun had already been created in the beginning Genesis 1: Since, Young Earth Creationism YEC believes that it was not until the fourth day that God created the sun, it becomes a huge problem for YEC to explain how there could have been the first 24 hours of day and night without the sun.
In order to get over this dilemma, YEC teaches that it was the light of the Holy Spirit which shone on the earth for the first three 24 hour days of the six-day creation week. Of course, anything is possible with God, but we find the YEC explanation not only unscriptural, but also totally illogical.
It further invites derision and unbelief in the Word of God from educational establishments and scientists. The rest of the Genesis account of creation, Genesis 1: Then, God recreated plant and animal life, and finally He created mankind for the very first time, as described in the six-day creation account of Genesis 1: Let us clearly understand that there is absolutely no contradiction whatsoever between Genesis 1: Day One Genesis 1: The effect of this direct and scorching heat, without any protective cloud layer on this first day, and the sudden change in temperature resulted in a massive global ice melt.
The massive ice sheet covering the surface of the whole earth must have been so thick that the Spirit of God first needed to shake , break and soften the ice in preparation for the melting process. We believe that this is exactly what God did. This is because Genesis 1: God formed the firmament using the process of evaporation, when the intense heat of the sunlight caused vast volumes of water vapour to rise up from the surface of the melt-waters to form dense dark clouds in the sky.
Day Three Genesis 1: He also causes plant life on land to start germinating in this warm, humid, cloud-darkened, cocooned environment. He made the stars also.
And God saw that it was good. We know from the very first verse of the Bible, Genesis 1: Then, God creates man in His own image, the pinnacle of His creation. These two accounts are not contradictory as they refer to two different situations. The second account in Genesis 1: These are Exodus Text 1 Exodus Let us see how and why Young Earth Creationism misapply this scripture in support their unbiblical belief in a Young Earth.
The Bible is consistent. In this verse, we see that the inspired Hebrew word asah , and not bara , is used to refer to the making of the heavens and the earth in six days. The Bible makes a clear distinction between the creation of the heavens and the earth in the beginning, by using the Hebrew word bara , and the renewal of the heavens and the earth in six days, by using the Hebrew word asah.
These Hebrew words bara and asah are not used interchangeably with respect to the heavens and the earth, despite what Young Earth Creationists say. We shall now prove this point by using relevant scriptures.
There are five places in the Bible where bara denotes the instantaneous creation of the heavens and the earth in the beginning, which are Genesis 1: We have already looked at three of these references, Genesis 1: Let us now consider the remaining two references Isaiah This clearly refers to the instantaneous creation of the heavens the universe in the beginning, agreeing with Genesis 1: We will now take a detailed look at Genesis 2: It is clear that there is a distinction between these two words.
This distinction is reinforced in verse 4 above, when relating these two words to the heavens and the earth. This scripture agrees with both Genesis 1: We have already considered three of these twenty occurrences in Genesis 1: We will consider one more example, Nehemiah 9: The host of heaven worships You.
So, Young Earth Creationists are wrong in saying that Nehemiah 9: Text 2 Romans 5: The fact that angels sinned before man cannot be disputed, because Satan was already present as a sinner in the Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve sinned. Young Earth Creationists deny this obvious and basic truth that sin first entered the world through angels. This obvious truth is confirmed by the historical sequence of the three judgements listed in 2 Peter 2: This verse specifically speaks about the sin of one man affecting the whole of the human race.
However, please note that Romans 5: Young Earth Creationists misunderstand Romans 5: Text 3 Genesis 1: So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. This is an erroneous argument, which is easily refuted by considering Jeremiah It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever. This judgement will cause massive worldwide death and destruction, and in Israel there will be huge numbers of dead bodies, including those of the armies of Gog and Magog who will fight in the final great battle of Armageddon.
Please note in Jeremiah They have misunderstood and misinterpreted all three of their so-called proof texts, Romans 5: Make sure you do your homework before you accept or reject it. Your own opinion doesn't count as far as God is concerned! What will you say when God asks why you haven't read and studied His Word? You just read it! And we loved it, else we wouldn't have shouted for joy! Now, that means we came before the earth was created. Yes , it means we have been deceived. The earth as created in Gen. This wonder, the "Great red dragon" , is always Satan. All these events will be just like it will be at the end of this earth age.
Satan had complete universal control over that prior earth kingdom; and he had total political control. This we will see in Revelation 13 , is a copy of this earth age, and the United Nations, with it's ten units of power, taking control over all it's dominions. Though the forms of government and their systems appear at first to be the same, we will see the differences between these two ages: That of the first earth age, and the flesh age we are now in.
The "stars" of heaven are the "sons of God". This "old dragon" caused one third of all of God's creation to follow him. No my friend, they do not have wings, but the cherubs do.
Welcome to Summit Theological Seminary
What it is saying here, is through Lucifer's who is now called Satan fall in the first earth age, he drew one third of God's children to him. He caused them to fall, and they worshipped him, and believed in him to be their God. That world age or cosmos that existed in that ancient time of the past, and everything that was a part of it was destroyed completely. All animal life on it was completely done away with, and God removed us from it u ntil such a time as He again made it habitable. God destroyed it completely and it happened at Satan's overthrow. Many people believe that this flood was the flood of Noah's day, however, the flood of Noah's day did not destroy this world age, life from before that flood carried right over into the dispensation that followed one year later, after the waters had subsided.
There are two bodies mentioned in this verse; the heaven and the earth. It simply states a fact, and left the time factor out. This verse not only did not say when, but left it totally to our imagination, as to the eternal span of time, and how the creation took place. Wisdom is God, for all wisdom is of God.
It is the old earth age, spoken of in Revelation This is stating that wisdom was with God, and He possessed me. Before there was any need of an abyss, or pit, and the water to fill them, God's wisdom was there. Before the earth even took on its present form, with the high mountains and rolling hills, God's wisdom was there. God's wisdom played part in the creation of this earth, and all wisdom comes from God. God was even there before that first Adam, or speck of dust of the earth was formed. In other words what this is saying is that there was land, and oceans, and fields and lakes, and God set His commandment that they should be separated through the "compass" which He set: This is the force that separates all water from dry land.
When the waves hit the rocks of the shoreline, they resend back into the sea. God allowed Job to be tested by both Satan and his fellow man, in the book of Job. However, after 37 chapters of man's nonsense, ramblings, and bad advise by those around Job, God spoke to Job. Job had been tested to the point of losing his entire family, all his property, and he had been inflicted by sores and sickness, yet he did not curse God. He was in a poor frame of mind when God again came to Job. Job had been listening to the trash of men's doctrines for the first thirty seven chapters of the book of Job, and now Job was ready to put those ramblings aside of other men, and listen directly to God.
God told Job to straighten up and be a man, and listen to what He is about to tell Job. Then God spells out in detail how He laid out the foundations of the earth and the heaven, and all matters concerning them. Then in the rest of Job 38 and 39 God reveals the wisdom that we read about in Proverbs 8. God told Job how He put the universe all together.
Our God is infinite in wisdom and power, yet His love for His children is so great that He allowed Himself to be killed as a man, on the cross at Calvary hill. It was this act of love that made it possible for mankind to except Him as their Savior and approach Him as His child. So there is a complete separation between Genesis 1: Who is the Spirit of God? He is the Holy Spirit, and it is God's Spirit that moved upon the face of the waters.
In the Hebrew text the translation of the word, "was" as used in this verse " The earth was not created a ruin but it became a ruin after the fall of Satan. It is the translators that changed the word from became, to was when they put it into English. The correct translation of the Hebrew from the Massoretic text for these words, " So we see that the earth was not created "without form", but it became [tohu] without form and void".
Lets go to Strong's Hebrew dictionary, reference number to verify the word "was", that we read in this verse. Now lets continue in the Strong's Hebrew dictionary to get the pure meaning for the word "void". The second "was" in the verse is in italics type because there is no verb "to be" in the Hebrew language. This is one of the problems in translating Hebrew into English, the verb "to be" is not distinguished from the verb, "to become". At the end of the first earth age of Genesis 1: God created the earth to be inhabited, and then He destroyed it.
There was an entire earth age that existed between the first two verses of Genesis. We will look into these Scriptures and try to understand the deeper meaning of our Father's Word. If you don't understand that there was a first earth age, you will not understand why God would say in Malachi 1: God hated Esau even while he was in his mother's womb.
It was in the first earth age that God hated Esau, because of what he was and did in that first earth age. It was what Esau's soul did in that age, that angered God so; and that anger passed on to the embryo of Esau when his soul entered into this earth age. This is also recorded in Romans 9: However, no matter how old this earth is, it is the only place in the universe that mankind, and the animals can exist in the flesh form that we are in and survive.
We do not worship the creation, but we worship the creator, our Heavenly Father. God Himself formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: God is speaking and Isaiah is writing what God is saying down, and God is telling us that when He created the earth, it was not in vain.
God created this earth to be lived on, and to be inhabited. So when we go back into II Peter 3: This is what Revelation It was in the first earth age that this took place, and what happened then is a type of what shall happen again in our generation. In this chapter of Revelation we now leave the last three and a half year period of this age and return all the way back to the world that was [the first earth age]. Some of the events that happened in that world that was will be a type of what we will see in our present earth age.
This wonder that takes place is a great sign in the heavens. The "woman" here is not the church, for a church building has never delivered any child. This mother has nothing to do with the church. This woman is "Israel" , the twelve sons of Jacob, or tribes as described in John Where is Israel today? It is the tribes of Israel who make up Christian nations which are found in western Europe, the isles of Britain and the Americas The same political and social order that was in existence at the end of the first earth age, will be ruling over the earth in the end of our current earth age.
This child to be delivered is the Messiah, and the woman delivering the child is the symbol of "Israel", however in the physical sense, we call her Mary. It is Satan's sole purpose to destroy this child. This is the wife and the son of Almighty God, and he wants us to feel these events occurring.
