Would you say the trapeze helped build your self-confidence and your sense of self within a community? My trapeze friends are my best friends. No one even thinks about that person, but that person knows you better than any person in the world.

Is this more of a private pursuit for you, or do you enjoy sharing it with a crowd? Another thing for a flying trapeze artist is when you are flying, the only other person who exists is that person who is catching you. How did the idea for the book come together? I would use trapeze analogies all the time. How long did you work on it? I worked on it for six years. This draft came together in three weeks, but it had been mulling around in notes and journal entries for years. Is there a major theme or themes running through the book?
The major theme is that perfectionism is the enemy. You can befriend fear. You can get to know your fear. Fear just needs to be acknowledged.

You have to get rid of it and tell it to shut up, because perfectionism is paralyzing. They were most patient and kind. As teachers, they gave it their all! If you have flying trapeze on your bucket list and who doesn't this is a great place, great atmosphere, great instructors and a great time!
