Moroccan breakfast — different breads with a variety of jams, cheese or butter to spread on top. A healthy Hawaiian breakfast — Lots of delicious fruit, and a nice bagel with some cream cheese for that extra feeling of fullness. This is a quick, simple breakfast that packs a punch. Swedish breakfast — Pannkakor is a pancake made from batter and fried on both sides — much like a crepe. It is served with a rich and sweet, fruity filling. Icelandic breakfast cuisine — It might not look that magnificent, but the Hafragrautur, or oatmeal, is favored in Iceland for good reason: Breakfast in Portugal — croissants and coffee.

A savory morning delight. So much so that a jar of these can often be found in a travelling Aussies backpack! A Brazilian breakfast — a tasty selection of meats, cheeses and bread. A very simple and popular breakfast. A Welsh breakfast — Hot bubbling cheese spread over toast. Thanks guys, you can send them all over to the UK!

Mangoes are popular fare to keep you regular. An Alaskan breakfast — featuring reindeer meat and an egg nestled on a pancake.

A traditional German breakfast — wursts, local cheeses and freshly baked bread is the normal fare for a German breakfast. All washed back with a delicious coffee. Four stars out of five. I'm still learning, and I have a great deal yet to learn. With your help, I'll improve every day. Be respectful and courteous in your comments and emails to me. I will do likewise with you. Thank you so much for indicating if this review helped you, or for your comment. I am SO happy that I no longer have to buy a quart of buttermilk, use half a cup, and wind up with the rest becoming a science project in my refrigerator! That, alone, would be worth the price of admission.

Loved the comments on each recipe page. On the other hand, I am a single person, and for many of the recipes, I would have to wait until I can get both of my semi-local sons and the wife of one of them to visit at the same time to make most of the recipes, which seem to serve , without doing a lot of math - and numbers are NOT my friends.

Still, everything except those recipes built around eggplant looks worth a try, even though I have certain personal standards to maintain: I do not, under any circumstances, eat sweet peppers, hot peppers, chile peppers, or celery. While celery didn't figure hugely in these recipes, peppers did, including the really spicy ones, which - as usual - I will simply omit.

Did I mention the desserts? Again, worth the price of admission.

Mouth-watering dishes to try across India

I particularly look forward to trying the Savory Egg Broth Custard. However, like a previous reviewer, I miss the nutrition information. It does matter, to some of us, for both nice-to-know meal planning and for medical reasons. Looking forward to lots of leftovers.

Creative, delicious, and straightforward recipes that the whole family will enjoy. It is hard to find dinner ideas that can keep kids and adults happy and there are plenty of options offered here. For those of us bored with the same old dinner options, particularly on nights with sports practice, this cookbooks offers tons of options!

I read this book from beginning to end in one sitting on my Kindle. The Kindle edition is very well done, and the directions so clear and inviting that l found myself caught up "in the action" as if I were reading a good novel. The color photos make me want to try most of the recipes, which are varied and interesting and mostly easy enough to overcome my aversion to following recipes.

One person found this helpful. Each easy-to-follow recipe comes with an insightful and entertaining background story, not to mention a gorgeous photo.

12 Easy Food Recipes To Make At Home - Twisted

It would be easy to just rehash old recipes in a new book and publish, but that is not what these guys do. They take tried and true recipes and put their own spin on them based on their world travels Regular cookbooks just give you a recipe and instructions and send you on your way. These authors weave in stories of their travels, their families and their connections to these meals. Its like reading a story while you are cooking. Finally, most are easy to make with ingredients that are not hard to find. I am not much of a cook, and I have made several recipes from the book so far.
