Attrnded and then stayed at a funeral , the funeral reception food was excellent and the rom was warm.
Nice place to stay. Room had a nice warm extra blanket- snuggly. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of cooked food, juices and fruit to choose from. The price was also very good. The bed was absolutely enormous which was nice although not requested! Easy to find the hotel, parking was easy and lots of spaces and the staff were very chipper. Plenty of parking space. Warm important for elderly folk like us.

The kitchen staff could have served us it was only two minuets off quarter to? The kitchen staff would not prepare our group a meal. Excellent value for money. The small bar area with TV that was quite loud. You could see some work has been done and looked stunning!
The mattress could do with changing. Great value for money. Place was undergoing some restoration so it smelt like paint.
Beds were comfy and room was nice and toasty. Only on my previous stay there was a fan heater in the wardrobe, however on this occasion there was not. I feel the cold so would have liked one, however I am sure if I had requested one it would have arrived. Bar food was good and reasonably priced. Cereal could have been a little fresher maybe had been out a while?
The room was really very spacious. The towels smelled really bad. After both of us getting a shower we used the towels and realized they smelled like old gym shoes and we both needed another shower. They were really bad. I had to leave very early in the morning and didn't bother saying anything to the staff in the morning as I didn't really have time. No instructions on how to work radiator controls. No local attractions folder. Getting in and out of bath not easy for older folk.
