Massengill writes as if she, herself, were a CIA operative -- her grasp of the "lingo" is amazing! With 37 characters in her book, I had to concentrate to remember who was whom, but it was well worth the effort.

Her surprising twists as she builds toward the culmination will keep you riveted to the pages. You'll enjoy the geographical diversity, too. Dominos of Deception was a great novel that kept me hanging on the edge with each chapter! Not having read "Storm Over Guantanamo" in years, the slow revelation of past characters was a lot of fun as I read.

Each scene was carefully set up and exciting to imagine. I loved all of the local Florida locations used! Character development and dynamics were wonderful as well! I also loved the influences from different places and cultures, it added to the mystique of the story.

Overall a great mystery novel, that's definitely not the 'same old same old' thing. I found this book intriguing. The cast of characters did make you pay close attention to keep them all straight but they were an interesting combination of diverse personalities. I always enjoy books written about geographic areas I am familiar with.
Since I am a new resident of Florida this book filled the bill. I love the characters in the book I hope to see the characters in Anna's next book. The gang's all here, engaging the reader in a global assault on terrorism. A well-crafted, riveting page-turner. Massengill breathes life into her characters and light-hearted moments abound in a suspense novel fraught with chills and thrills. Kudos to the author.
