Even her best friends family her been treating her differently. Now he smells like cotton candy and has pink wings. Tally has such low self esteem that she hides behind her sassy wit and pure sex appeal. Now she has even less belief in her story including herself being happy. He refuses to fail where she is concerned, even if that means in the end he might die himself.

Tally was a strong female character but her self esteem was holding her back. As she and Falcon got closer she started to realize the kind of power she had and how she could use it to finally make amends for her past. Learning to be selfless without regard for yourself was a central theme and happiness was the reward.

Tally and Falcon definitely have some hot scenes but what I enjoyed most about them was that their relationship was born out of a life long friendship that they shared. Falcon, for as much he resisted, sure experienced every feeling a man in a relationship would feel right down to the bone deep jealousy regarding Ethelred.

A smoldering hero complete with pretty pink wings who needs to embrace life, a heroine who is stronger then she gives herself credit for and a supporting cast of characters who pop off the page. Hilarity ensues and I found myself laughing at the hijinx Tally experiences along her journey.

How to Seduce an Angel in 10 Days

Not many authors can work in a 5 foot tall walking, talking vajazzeled vajayjay into a book and make it work. Jul 16, Cassandra rated it it was amazing Shelves: This book is delicious! I feel so much better! What better what to get to know cupid, and his lady love? How to Marry a Warlock in 10 Days. Anyway, imagine a cute, buff hunk of a guy in pink…glittery…angel wings. Through in a couple werewolves, a few demons, a couple angels, and a man eating fiend? Yah, it goes there! I honestly am in love with this book, and this author! I would read it again, and again, and again!

Feb 20, Christi Snow rated it really liked it. This is 3 in this series, but these books work as stand-alones. I haven't read the other two in the series, although I will admit to being tempted by them several times. This book is number three in the series and the My Review: This book is number three in the series and the characters sound like they have been VERY involved in the story lines of the other two novels and are now living with the consequences of those events.

For Tally, she's a pariah among her people. An evil infested her in the last book and she killed several people, some whom she loved dearly. It was all worked out, but no one trusts her now. One of those she killed was Falcon, one of her oldest and dearest friends. He's since come back, but now he's Cupid Falcon and Tally have been friends for a long time and they've circled around their attraction for just about as long, but when the powers that be put Falcon in charge of Tally's probation, that puts them in prolonged contact with each other This is a fabulously fun world.

Falcon is one of three triplets, so we have all those sexy guys. His sister and Tally's best friend just married another super-sexy guy. Falcon is Tally's parole officer on the angelic side, but she also has a parole officer from the hellish side too There's a whole lot of sexy going around It's definitely a fun book. But the flip side of that is Tally. This is a girl who's never had an easy go in life and isn't so sure that she deserves it.

10 Days Series by Saranna DeWylde

She's overcome with guilt over what happened before, even though it truly wasn't her fault. She doesn't feel like she deserves love and watching her overcome that through this book was fabulous. I loved watching her develop. It truly is a fabulous book. I enjoyed every single minute of reading it and can't wait to read the other two in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review. Mar 09, Toni rated it really liked it Shelves: How to Seduce an Angel in 10 Days is an entertaining addition to the 10 Days series. Tally is having a crappy life. She is a loser in love, a pariah to her people and now a parolee.

She has ten days to prove she is worthy of a second chance. Ten long days to be cooped up with a male that has always owned her heart, but has always viewed her as a little sister. Ten days for her life to be altered forever. Falcon is having a crappy life too. But that is what his life has become; living in pastels and sparkles. He is now being forced into the position of parole officer to a woman he has always desired. How can a Crown Prince of Heaven slake his desire for the one woman he always wanted when it is a big no-no?

Their ten days together is a learning experience for both of them. It is full of revelations and discoveries, desires and disappointments. These two troubled souls will defy what is expected of them and will discover what love is all about. While I rate this the same as the prior book, How to Marry a Warlock in 10 days, I have to say I may have actually liked it more.

I like the slight direction change that Ms. DeWylde has decided to take. It was very nicely balanced and reads very smoothly. How to Seduce an Angel is wonderful light read with tons of heart. I especially like that we were visited by prior characters and their stories were intertwined a bit. Not in an overpowering way, but I can feel that Ms. DeWylde is setting up future novels. I am definitely adding the 10 Days series to my must read list. I have enjoyed everything about them. These novels have a lighthearted feeling to them along with whimsical humor, practical plots and appealing characters; a winning combination!

This is a vividly entertaining series. My only issue was that since it was third in the 10 Days series, I was missing out on a lot of plot that happened in the two previous books, which made the story a little hard to get into. Luckily, there was a cute main couple, great supporting characters and lots of laughs to keep me interested.

Fringe trailer: How to lose a client in 10 days

Tally and Falcon are an adorable couple. And though it is obvious that in the end Falcon will be the guy for Tally, it is fun to watch all the other guys she interacts with along the way. While there is information given about what happened, why, and what the results were, it was still not all very clear and I found myself making a lot of conjectures.

And I would like to take a moment and say, really- Falcon? Several graphic sex scenes, sensuality Originally posted at Strange Bedfellows: I decided to plunge ahead anyway, without reading the previous books, so please take my comments with a grain of salt. Obviously, I was a little lost since this book starts off with some heavy backstory.

As in, right smack dab in the middle of backstory. You'll definitely want to read the first two books of the Originally posted at Strange Bedfellows: You'll definitely want to read the first two books of the series, How to Lose a Demon and How to Marry a Warlock before reading this one. I was able to fit the pieces together well enough, but I can easily imagine that a sequential read makes the storyline more interesting.

Not to imply that I didn't enjoy the book because I did, very much so. This is a funny, fast-paced story that's packed with magic and mythical beings. It's quite a lineup: So there I was, following along despite not having done the assigned reading, and I'm loving everything. And my attention span narrowed down to him.

I couldn't help it; he's just so delicious. He's that perfect sort of asshole Adonis -- completely irreverent and self-absorbed, too pretty for anyone else's good, and suspiciously sweet when it suits him. I don't know what it says about me that I love these kinds of characters, but Ethelred completely stole the show. I really had a hard time focusing on the main story with him around. I'll admit, I started speed-reading through scenes that didn't include my beloved dickhead demon. For the sake of Ethelred alone, I'd recommend this book.

But, really, there's a lot to like. Again, though, make sure you've read the previous books first. Jan 16, Gabriella rated it liked it Shelves: I'd like to thank Netgalley and Kensington Publishing Corp. Through the front gates so everyone can see my ass before they kiss it. Keep in mind that this is an adult book, and there are explicit details! She has 10 days to prove herself. All she ever wanted is to settle down, and have a family on her own Possibly with Falcon! But can she make Falcon fall in love with her? Falcon Cherrywood is the new Cupid after he shot a fire ball at the last one.

Too bad he's never been in love before. He always "liked" Tally, and since he is one of her Heavenly Parole Officer, maybe it's his chance Just like in her other book's the characters were loveable and really funny. I found myself loughing out loud a couple of times. His gaze was drawn, where her dress had ruched up around her thights.

I gave this book 3 stars. Mar 10, LaCath rated it really liked it Shelves: To be perfectely honest, I don't like much of Mrs DeWylde work. I read the first and second book of the "how to series", and it fell And not funny either. Plus I didn't like Grace, nor Middy and, full disclosure, didn't even finished the second book. I know I would Well, it has the same flaws as the other books, don't get me wrong meaning too many graphic sex scenes and very bad puns.

Well, I kind of felt bad for Tally in the previous book. She was that easy-bordering-on-slutty girl with a big heart that just kept going for the wrong guys. At some point, I felt more for her than for Middy, who was the heroin. Plus there was the Trifecta of Doom, Middy's tall, dark, sexy and overprotective triplets brothers So when I noticed that the third book was about Tally and Falcon Cherrywood, I was in a "go for it but don't have too high expectations" kind of mood. And I actually liked it. First, it was funnier. Not laughing-out-loud funny, but cute funny. Second, Tally is a much more endearing character than the previous two.

But, at the end of the journey, what really saved the book and Mrs DeWylde work in general for me was the relationship between Falcon and Tally. Neither is perfect, they're both more than a little broken and yet But most of the rest. Feb 09, Kimberly rated it really liked it Shelves: Review featured on www.

Yes it is paranormal but kind of in the Bewitched typed paranormal. This one did not have as much levity as the second one did I did not read the first one yet but it was still really fun. I think Tally is just adorable. She is written having a great sense of humor, she is so snide that it is hard not to enjoy her words, and yet she is strong enough to stand up for herself I was a little surprised at h Review featured on www. I was a little surprised at how needy she was with Falcon but then I guess if I had a guy like Falcon I would want to need him too.

He is that boy you thought was the older brother type but ended up being the hottest lover type. And it is hard not to enjoy his sensitivity. If you enjoy fn paranormal romance this is most certainly the book and series for you. And it is just a good read. I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. This book picked up pretty much where the previous one left off, or within days of it, during Middy's wedding. I'm still confused on the World Mythology on this series, possibly because things change so often from book to book. May 18, Kristin marked it as gave-up-on. I couldn't finish this book because coming in the middle of the series without reading the first two books made me feel really out of the loop. I also didn't like the use of fantasy in this book-the author was trying too hard to make sure the readers remembered the characters were supposed to be mythical and constantly reminding them.

It was too over the top and rather than showing the characters as witches or angels etc, she would just keep mentioning what they were.

The characters were "paranormal" but oh so normal in their fears.

I know this doesn't come out for quite sometime, so how can I rate it 5 stars? Well, this is one of my "go to" authors. Her quick wit, intelligent characters, well-developed plot lines and fresh voice are present in all of her works, and this will be no different. Any rating less before you read it is doing both the author and yourself a discredit.

Love this perfectly naughty series. Dec 10, Amy rated it it was amazing Shelves: The story of Tully is so wonderfully amazing. There are scenes such as in Chapter 25, that are so well-written that they play through your head like on a big screen and you know that if ever given the chance, they would live just as fabulously there as they do on the page.
