I enjoyed your first book , and have found that I have enjoyed your second book of this series even more please continue this series.
All up very enjoyable. When I started 'Star Bourne' I thought it a bit slow, but I continued on and was surprised at how much I became engrossed as I read further into the story. By the end I could not get 'Star Rise' quick enough. This book didn't disappoint. When is 'Star Strike' due. I would have a serious talk with your proof readers. Couldn't put the book down once I started reading. Funny story quick Crete. I enjoyed this book very much. There are very good interactions between the characters, and the viewpoint shifts from one location to another in a well documented way.
Preview of The Last Command by Michael D. Cooper
The story is well told and is interesting. There are some redundancies where the explanation is given within a page or two, making the second one superfluous. I got the impression that ships moving around a system other than micro-jumps were doing so faster than physics would allow, but that was minor. Also the constant use of full ship names like FNS Theseus every time, tended to slow down my reading. Sorry to be so picky, but writing improvement is the name of the game, and you like reviews. On to book 3 next. A good continuation of the story. My only constructive criticism is that at some moments the story moves too quickly and changes viewpoints and others are slowly explained in almost too much detail.
Seems like some dead ends. Also the battle at the end needed to be fleshed out some more.
