This book also was more in depth with both characters. She has a run in with Colt, The guy she had a crush on in high school. While reading, you definitely got a sense of both Kat and Colt's deep rooted issues of their past. The author let you get to know both characters in the book before any kind of emotion is showed, which was ok with.
