There have been a few contradictions in an early chapter. And parts of the book are redundant or even silly nonprofessional. However, I have found it over all so far to be very helpful. Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Hurst knows her stuff. Pick this up, even though it is not on your required textbook list in nursing school. I love the hurst Review series. This book is definately a great review. I highly recommend it for any seasoned nurse and definately a great companion for any nursing student!

Glad I found them now. Marlene hurst uses humor and knowledge from years of experience to help us understand and remember it all. I really love that she scatters her sense of humor into every chapter, it really breaks it up and adds much needed spice to nursing! I love Hurst so much that I also took her review class, another thing I wish I would of known about while I was still in nursing school Better late than never Buy this book, definately worth it! It's easy to comprehend the medical terminology that nurses must know for the disease process.
