I wouldn't in a million years have downloaded this freebie if it hadn't contained contributions by Cheyenne Blue, down to the fact that and I very, very rarely comment on cover art because by and large when I get a book I do it for the words not the pictures unless it's a picture book, comic or graphic novel the covers for these are absolutely flippin' awful.

What's inside to a large extent didn't rock my boat either until I got to 'Sam', one of the most haunting, sad, weird and wonderful erot I wouldn't in a million years have downloaded this freebie if it hadn't contained contributions by Cheyenne Blue, down to the fact that and I very, very rarely comment on cover art because by and large when I get a book I do it for the words not the pictures unless it's a picture book, comic or graphic novel the covers for these are absolutely flippin' awful.

What's inside to a large extent didn't rock my boat either until I got to 'Sam', one of the most haunting, sad, weird and wonderful erotic shorts I have ever read. It is possibly the finest of Cheyenne Blue's stories I have come across so far, totally wasted among what is otherwise perfectly fine but not particularly memorable porn.

May 10, Ms. To those offended by erotica, perhaps you should not read it. Yes it is actually pornography. There is no shame in indulging your sexual side.

Series: Readerotica

I say this as a woman who spent several years giving into Catholic shame and not even discussing anything remotely sexual; later in life, I discovered that I enjoy my sexuality and have set myself free. In fact, I am an author in this volume. And again, if erotica repulses you, don't read it. If you are concerned that erotica like "Penthouse Forums" have no plot, please note that it is almost always women who write that.

Surely if vampires existed in the present, they would get hooked on computer games just like the rest of us. Of course, she agrees, even when his first officer joins them in bed. On the one hand, the hero is more compassionate than any man she has ever met on that planet.

On the other hand, they do some rather uncomfortable things. In print romances, bondage and domination were usually reserved for skanky villain sex scenes. Writers such as Angela Knight showed us that heroes and heroines could participate willingly in these scenarios. More rarely, the women get to be the dominant ones. Kay wishes there were more stories about dominant females. Janet finds that she has to read other genres to find take-charge heroines.

Then publishers listened to readers. Sure enough, they did. It should come as no surprise as female fan fiction fans were reading and writing gay erotica for decades. You thought your paranormal creatures were tortured enough? Because e-book publishers can sell to a niche audience, they can publish everything from gay werewolf stories to true BDSM lifestyle stories.

This year, however, I began to buy more print erotic romance. The cover shows a man wearing handcuffs? How could I resist? It should be interesting to find out what the publishers have in store for me. Post to the Archives for this Column.

At the Back Fence Issue During this controversial short story, not only does Michael kidnap Jeannie, he forces her submission to him to assure that Jeannie complies with his safety measures. This is a terrific cabin romance , and not just because the love scenes sizzle.

Candidate for the Kiss Angela Knight Secrets Volume 6 After reporter Dana Ivory stumbles onto the path of secret agent — and vampire Gabriel Archer, his superiors believe she could be an asset. Turn her into a vampire — whether she wants it or not. So instead, he decides to use all his seductively persuasive powers. But no more…Sam confronts her at the beach.

For his part, Jake sees a woman taking foolish chances and will do anything to protect her. Fireworks and lots of hot sex ensue. Tess has some preconceived notions about Jonah, but could really use the money. My favorite erotic romances for Questions To Consider for Part I: Do you read erotic romance? If not, did you ever read it, or have you never tried? Do you think erotic romance has forever changed the face of mainstream romance, and is that a good or bad thing?

Conversely, what are the themes you like best in erotic romance? Are you basically a Brava anthology reader, or do you Laurie was quite personal in terms of describing her journey of reading erotic romance. Was it too much information for you, or did it provide food for thought?

Please share your favorite erotic romance stories and novels. Tell us who wrote them, what they are about, and why you enjoyed them. Has reading erotic romance changed any of your attitudes about sex or love? Have you ever read any erotic romance that either went beyond or acceptance level, or changed it? The icing on all this was when a very nice gentleman in his 90's told my boss that he thought 50 Shades of Grey was very well written. I decided that regardless of my feelings towards the quality of that book, that this was not an argument I needed to get into.

I'm used to the fact that the biggest fan demographic at the library of 50 Shades is over 70, it was just the timing of that statement that got to me and the almost innate reaction of someone older than one's grandparents praising 50 Shades. And in a week or two I get a reminder of all this when the ereader is returned.

So one of the "joys" of upgrading hardware is inevitably you have some sort of legacy component that still needs to work with the new system. For us it was our barcode scanners as legacy components as I upgrade our staff computers. Computers that work are awesome, even more so when they work well.

As it turns out, not so much. I can connect everything, the scanner is powered, but when I scan a barcode I get only a few characters printed to screen. This time around I am in the position of making most technology purchase recommendations, and I went for a generic adapter from Monoprice. So, thinking about putting iTunes on public computers? Please, don't do it.

  • Now, this is completely my personal opinion, but it's really not a good idea. Even the Apple help forums agree. You can of course do it if you really want to, and likely if you're in a public library, you've had patrons request iTunes on the public computers. Here's the problem - iTunes is designed to work with personal collections and personal devices, and does this whole authorization thing that verifies that the iPod is authorized to the iTunes library account and not to a different account , as well as potentially limiting the number of machines that items in your library can be saved to.

If you have an iTunes account you can authorize up to 5 computers, and 5 devices to that one account. If you hook up your device to a computer with a different authorization, the authorization on your device will be reset in order for it to work with iTunes on that computer. What Valve's Announcements Mean for Gaming I'm totally seeing in-house library applications with this. Librarian Shaming This is fun.
