I love Bridgette books but this book didn't have the passion that I'm use to from Bridgette. It's about a woman cheating with a married man gets pregnant and find someone to marry. Karen wanted to get revenge against the Watson family for what they did to her family. She plot to have Douglas Watson fall in love with her,they marry,and she leave him on their wedding night to humiliate him and hurt him the way she had been hurt. Love is strange,Karen did not realize in her plot to get Douglas to fall in love with her that she would fall in love with him.

Douglas mother was a real piece of work,I was hoping Karen would just pop her one time. Wo Wonderful A story about revenge. Wonderful story about revenge,love,and forgiveness. Any suggestion on my next series? I love series books.

I am a fan of Brigette Manie!! This book kept me fixed until the last page and had me wanting more! I am awaiting the next book in the series! It's good, clean, and meaningful. None of the drama of traditional black books. Manie fills a void for the young adult crew and I hope she keeps these books coming!!
