It was a touching story with great character development. I couldn't put the book down turn off the kindle. I couldn't really dislike Gil and it was a good use of him as a ghost.

Parts of the story were definitely predictable, but still a pleasant read. I can' wait to read more books by Michelle Beattie. Aug 25, Gloria Antypowich rated it it was amazing. Love by Accident by Michelle Beattie. This book captured me from the beginning to the end. The characters were so real to me that I could submerse myself in their feelings and emotions. I could feel his confusion, his grief, his loyalty to his friend Gil, and Love by Accident by Michelle Beattie. I could feel his confusion, his grief, his loyalty to his friend Gil, and his conflicted feelings of love and hate for Lauren.
And I loved how Gil slipped in and out of the story, nudging them toward understanding of what had really happened 4 years earlier, when the three of them had been close friends. He subtly encouraged them to find their way to truth and forgiveness, truly wanting his old friends to find happiness. I also love, love, loved that the story was situated in Jasper, Alberta; a place of exquisite beauty and one that I am familiar with. I was totally blown away when I discovered that Michelle Beattie is an Albertan also.

The heroine and hero were complex, flawed and relatable. This is NOT a hokey romance novel. Michelle did a great job writing this and I look forward to her future e-books! Jun 27, Katie O'Connor rated it it was amazing. Love by Accident is a moving story of love lost and love re-found. It touched on a number of issues near to my heart and brought old memories back to the surface.
I was moved to tears of sadness and tears of joy. I'm not saying that because of religion, it doesn't matter if it's islam or Christianity because both in arab countries don't live like that.
Love By Accident
It's a good story just far from culture reality. Sep 28, Amanda Sheila rated it it was ok Shelves: The plot is good, but.. There's just this huge mistake that pissed me off. Arab's common religion is Islam, though I know there are so many Christians and Jews as well, but still, Islam's the famous one. Yet when the sheikh, the heroine's brother, got married, he married in Christian culture. Walking down the aisle, best men and stuff.. There's no walking down the aisle, in Islam's wedding? All I'm trying The plot is good, but.. All I'm trying to say is, it would be lovely if the author did some research first before writing this kind of story with this kind of Hero.
It's like, she's trying to write about Japan but still put Dollar as their official money. It's not Dollar, it's Yen. So overall, the plot's intriguing but the execution is poor. I don't feel the chemistry between the main characters and the plot itself could be so much better than this. May 26, Yui rated it did not like it Shelves: The writing is choppy and there are some things that didn't make sense. Some gestures that seemed propitious. I waited but nothing happened.

It gave the impression that it'll be used in some future conversation or a scene about some changes? Even the food improvement project seemed abandoned. She bought some spices and some instructions were written but then nothing. No result shown, no acknowledgement even a joke or two inserted in a convers Too fast. No result shown, no acknowledgement even a joke or two inserted in a conversation afterward. All that fuss and then it got cut half-way. May 17, Judy Bolick rated it it was amazing. She has heard how horrible he is and is very unhappy with the arrangement!
She takes it upon herself to see what this country and these people think about Sheik Hussan! You must read Elizabeth Lennox's book to see the outcome! Dec 21, Sonja rated it did not like it.
Love By Accident by Michelle Beattie
Omg what a awful book! Writing disaster, no emotions no story telling. Story could be good if writer did the job and learned about stuff she is actually writing! There is nothing invested in this book and just wondering who let this be published! Waste of money waste of time. Sep 22, Kate Walker rated it liked it. A good book Elizabeth. I liked the idea of the tile once again. I don't remember the cover of the book looking like this book mind you. I liked the people in the book too. Aug 12, Kate rated it it was ok.
Not one of her best. No one else will ever have eyes that beautiful. He messed up by getting too close to you and touching your hair, touching your skin, memorizing your laugh.
When You Fall In Love By Accident
You let yourself be enchanted by his story. He likes your simplicity. Happy at bar, but happier at a stoop with a six-pack and a bag of chips.
This, of course, will never happen. His paintings will have little reminders of you.
