I focus on students' reading needs. Writing is a part of what I also teach to my students. One day I had a picture in my head which progressed in a story line. It was so strong that I had to write it down. Before long I had four chapters to the book, Palmerton City Mysteries: When I finished the book, other ideas came for possible sequels.
