Alien brain parasites, entering humans through the mouth, turn their host into a killing zombie. Some teenagers start to fight against them.

When his girlfriend is accidentally killed, the son of a military guy working on Trioxin as a weapon, uses it to bring her back, causing an outbreak. I don't really care for running or talking zombies, but this is worth seeing once. So-so film about a guy who guards a cemetery where the dead keep coming back.
He also keeps killing the woman he loves. Worth a view but nothing special. R min Action, Horror, Thriller. A nurse, a policeman, a young married couple, a salesman, and other survivors of a worldwide plague that is producing aggressive, flesh-eating zombies, take refuge in a mega Midwestern shopping mall. It can't compare to the original as there are just too many plot holes and character inconsistencies. I also found the tacked on ending a poor idea. R 80 min Comedy, Fantasy, Horror.

He is brought back to life by his mother as a flesh-craving zombie, who sires more teen undead while trying to control his, er, appetite for his beloved. An Ok movie where the dead are brought back by a spell, but the page to put them back in the ground is missing.
Average, but ok for a view.

R 93 min Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller. The living dead have taken over the world, and the last humans live in a walled city to protect themselves as they come to grips with the situation. One of the lesser entries in the Romero films. Here, they're starting to remember that they were alive, using tools and such. I don't know why George loves his zombies so much, but I don't. I like them shambling and dumb, not using weapons and such. Well done from a film perspective, but a lesser entry anyway.

Typical over the top Rodriguez action, with every type of nasty fluid expelled on screen, a woman with an M leg and some madness about barbeque.

This is virtually a remake of Pontypool. Both take place in a radio station while an unknown outbreak causes mass violence.

Not Rated 88 min Action, Comedy, Crime. It got some good reviews, but I was mostly disappointed at this where some cockney criminals attempt to escape a zombie overrun London. Best part is having the guy who played Bricktop in Snatch in virtually the same role, defending his old age home against zombies. PG min Action, Adventure, Horror. Former United Nations employee Gerry Lane traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to destroy humanity itself. This was a tepid zombie movie. No sense of excitement, mostly just Brad Pitt running from one problem to another.
I don't know how it made the money it did. But I didn't like the book either. R 86 min Action, Comedy, Horror. Pretty lame, but worth seeing if one is an 80's nostalgia person. A horror-comedy about two blue-collar factory workers who happen to be jiu-jitsu experts dealing with a ravenous, flesh-eating zombie uprising in Tokyo. Now we're getting into the crap. Two lame juijitsu fanatics bury their dead boss in a toxic dump causing an outbreak. Pretty lame and not even close to being funny. R 93 min Comedy, Drama, Horror.

Of course one collar fails Like a lone hero staggering through a crowd of ravenous flesh-eaters, it could still do with a little patching up. The city is quickly quarantined, with military forces firing on anything or anyone that tries to escape. You take on the role of Kyle Crane, who was hired by the humanitarian Global Relief Effort to track down the sadistic bandit leader Kadir Suleiman. When you wake, you find you've been rescued by members of The Tower, a sanctuary for survivors.
Crane has a nearly superhuman ability to use practically anywhere you can get a handhold to scale buildings, bridges, vehicles, rock, and pretty much any vertical surface you encounter. Your parkour skills are mapped to the shoulder buttons, but the system takes a little getting used to. The infected vary from typical slow-moving, unintelligent zombies, to fast, resourceful monsters that only come out at night. The hulking, brutish undead are better dealt with by attacking from a distance with throwing stars or molotovs, or by running in and nailing them with a quick strike.
You also have to be sneaky, since your powerful weapons make enough noise to attract the more dangerous, faster infected. The combat is more organic and less of a chore than other zombie titles, like Dead Rising. Every hit counts, and each blow from your weapon has the feeling of real motion; during critical hits, an x-ray view shows the bones of your enemies cracking and breaking. A baseball bat may make an infected stumble, a knife may cause bleeding damage and allow you to attack faster and an axe may cleave them straight in two.
You get to decide which style of weapon you like best. We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough.
