It is but a start, showing the morals of various major scriptures and their humanistic characteristics; that which is not supernatural. Look hard enough and one can find good and evil in any dark corner. However, to find the positive, that which Jefferson accomplished, is difficult. This book is a fine beginning and I look forward to the next.

I was raised as a catholic, but I practice apatheism every second of the day, and it's very rewarding considering the effort I make. Expectations of the book were slightly high, didn't really like how dry and tedious the Bible is, obviously not Thomas Jefferson's fault; the book delivered what it promised. There are some good passages from different religions past page , really liked that.

I understand a bit more why they added all that silly superstitious stuff; I suspect one of the many reasons is that it's an ancient genius marketing scheme, perfect for a time when ignorance was the norm.
