I am totally amazed by the way that God loves us so. When I attempt to think about the level of love that God has for His children, I become somewhat dumbfounded.
The Journey to Destiny
One of the most important tasks that Christians have been given by our Heavenly Father is to simply love one another. Sounds simple, but loving others is, in my personal opinion, the most difficult feat for any Christian to accomplish.
Let us be real here; our flesh interferes with this as it is sometimes filled with malice, jealously, envy, and even rage towards others when we feel that they have wronged us. We get totally defensive and forget that what others do to us may just be a part of God's plan in teaching us how to forgive and love those that are most difficult to love. We always seem to come up with numerous reasons why we are unable to love others. And, just being civil or nice to someone does not mean that you love them.
Who do you truly love? Only God, and hopefully you, knows because our love for others is written on our hearts for only god and us to truly see and feel. I began to think about what God's list would look like if He began to jot down reasons why He should not love or care about us: He tries to spend time with us: We have more important items on our agenda.
No time for Him.
Have You Read A Taste of My Testimony?
He stands beside us: We walk right past Him and pretends He is not there. He give us instructions: Afterall, we are grown and can take care of ourselves. He protects and blesses us daily: We are too busy with our worldly tasks to take a few minutes and say "thanks". He does us favors: We don't even attempt to repay Him for them, but we are quick to repay a friend when they do us a favor.
He listens when we need to talk: When we find someone else to talk to, He no longer hears from us. He holds us when we are afraid and covers us when we are in danger: That is the only time we allow Him to cuddle with us. He provides all our needs and even some of our wants: We hold out on the worship and praises that are due to Him. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins: It begins with the lack of bread in the Bethlehem the House of Bread and ends with the unfailing promise of the Bread of Life!
And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: She moved from being Naomi pleasant to Mara bitter. She saw no hope in the foreseeable future. However God was going to use the unassuming Moabite stranger who doggedly tagged along with her to a foreign land, to create spectacular history.
We never know what God is going to use or do next in His master plan but when He is done we are amazed and delighted at His wisdom and goodness!
All we may see is the stark grimness of the present and near foreseeable future. God alone has the future wrapped up and He reveals it to whoever He will.

However God was using all the misadventures of Naomi to weave a historical, prophetic tapestry of extraordinary Messianic beauty. Surely we most often only see the underside of tangled thread and knotted ugliness until God in His grace allows us a glimpse of the beauty he has wrought. Naomi's planned and executed move to Moab resulted in tragedy to her family but God used it to bring goodness and mercy to the whole world.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 2 Corinthians 4: Did Naomi know she was to become the ancestor of our Messiah?
Not in her wildest dreams Naomi however lost that hope with the death of her sons and husband. All seemed physically impossible now Do not ever think anything or anyone is too insignificant for God to use! For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: God can use you even though you may feel insignificant, useless, overlooked and under achieving!
He just requires you surrender into His hands and He will shape your life like the potter shapes the formless clay into objects of beauty and usefulness. Ruth, the ancestor of Messiah demonstrates the God's grace, guidance, and goodness in taking bad situations and turning them into triumph radiating His Glory.
