All the ladies thought it was so cute and wanted to know where I got it. It's super trendy with great pictures and recipes inside. It teaches the newlyweds how to find the best ingredients, prep and of course how to cook. The beginning of the book provides recipes for cooking for 2, then how to cook for a small group and finally entertain a large party. What a great find, and I will consider purchasing it for another young couple in the future.
I stuck some of my own recipes in there on handwritten cards and added a nice message to the inside cover. I think it will make a great keepsake for the newlyweds! This is a great cookbook.
I was disappointed when no one purchased it on our wedding registry, but once I had the registry discount and some gift cards, it was the first item put into my cart. The recipes are great, and they're generally not too complicated. They all have a modern feel to them, lots of health-conscious options, with some sweet foods for special occasions. The first part of the cookbook is dedicated to helping you find the right ingredients, in farmers markets, butcher shops, etc.
A beautiful cookbook that makes a great gift for newlyweds as part of a housewarming, bridal shower, or wedding gift. I first saw this in store at Anthropologie and then was going to order it online I took a quick look through the recipes and they look really nice.
