Rated from notes taken on 16 Aug -- Pretty caramel brown pour. The taste is a woody carmel malt flavor with some firm hop presence. Very good beer to drink in the Texas fall. Backlog 12 oz Bottle. Reddish in color, light beige colored head, decent carb, and clear. The smell is caramel, malts, sweet, cereal, and toast. The taste is dry, toasty, malts, chalky, and ok. Draft in the DFW airport.

Looks great -- dark bronzed color with a firm top. The aroma is unexpectedly laden with some kind of spice. This does drink like some kind of fall beer, caramel malt of an alt, but with some added kick of Pours Reddish brown with a thick tan head that sticks around. Aroma of malt and caramel. Medium mouth fell with a nice hop-malt balance.

One of their best selections. Pours a dark amber, almost a cola brown, with a thick and fine-bubbled light tan head. Strong aroma has a malty core with a note of caramel an a hint of cloves. Pleasing flavor satisfies with malty, caramel and cloves notes. Firm, smooth texture leaves a subtle tingle.
