Adam was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and the family spent more than a year searching for answers from Rocky Mount, Duke University Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Their world included intensive care waiting rooms, medical staffs and new friends going through similar circumstances. I personally found, in my grief, thoughts and memories never seemed to cease. Those feelings forced Harrold to face her loss and find a way to begin to heal. It was quiet moments at night when sleep refused to come when Harrold found an answer.
