And reading, writing, and spelling still to this day remain difficult for me. One thing I've learned despite having this learning disability, I can accomplish my goals, if I don't, get overwhelmed by the big picture I just take one step at a time. Ted Lazaris is the successful, 1 Amazon best-selling, creator and author of the DragonMan series, a 21st-century superhero saga - like nothing we've experienced before. Ted can add screenwriter, producer and, if that wasn't enough, writer of lyrics to two songs set to feature in the films, to his impressive list of achievements. The amazing story of DragonMan was born at the dawn of the 21st Century, when the world, about to change forever, watched in disbelief as four passenger airliners crashed, not only into buildings and a field in Shanksville Pennsylvania but into the American certainty that the horrors of the outside world could not touch them at home.

It was into this world that a new kind of superhero emerged, one for whom the lines between good and evil are blurred.

Or is he foe? No one knows for sure. What they do know, however, is that as a friend there is no one better. Despite his Midwest origins, Luke is no ordinary teenager. DragonMan: Descendants of Man

And in the final confrontation with the past, present, and future, The 13th Sign will ultimately determine if life on Earth will go on, or perish Outraged by his defeat at the hands of DragonMan, Unter will hit Luke where it hurts most. As a huge fan of apocalyptic thrillers, I have probably seen them all. But occasionally, something so incredibly entertaining comes along to shake me out of my jadedness. It powerfully sweeps you off your feet and relentlessly enthrals you with its white-knuckle, edge-of-your-seat story. Lazaris does a fantastic job weaving the intricate plot into a coherent, compelling whole, especially in how he manages to gradually up the ante of suspense toward the incredibly page-turning climax.

A resounding five stars for this book. Wow this book is really great.

DragonMan: Luke Starr

I really loved the story I would go as far as saying it is now one of my favourite books. The way the author has written this book is beautifully done you just want to read more and more I enjoyed every page. The story line is really well written and the author really gets your imagination going. I felt like I was really there with all the characters. The direction the story line takes you on is truly exciting and the suspense of the story is great.

DragonMan - Face of the Unknown by Ted Lazaris

The pending realization of an apocalyptic disaster that the main characters face makes for a really exciting story and a joy to read I love this type of story I could read books like this for hours. I did not expect this book to be as good as it was I was thinking it was like a science fiction book but I was truly amazed at how the book progressed into a thriller with a bit of science fiction and mystery rolled into one book which creates a very interesting story. I hope there is more to come from this author because they have a real talent of making every page very easy to read which keeps you reading for hours.

DragonMan is a novel incorporating a mixture of genres: Sci-Fi, thriller and a spattering of mystery. This combination truly makes for an absorbing read.

  • Publisher's Summary;

The author has a style of writing that is easy on the eye and it works well here. Some fantasy Sci-Fi novels can become bogged down with complicated names of places, characters and components, losing their readers within the first few pages. However, this novel is nothing like that. It's very easy to understand and for many lovers of this genre, a definite page turner. There was some occasions, I did become confused, simply because the action appeared to be hurried. It seemed to me that small chunks of dialogue or action were missing.

I have to say, though, that they are not glaringly obvious but, I think it's only fair that I should be point it out.

Also, towards the middle of the book, unfortunately, the proof reader has missed some errors and they were enough to cause me to shake my head a few times. Mistakes do happen; we're only human after all but, sometimes, it is necessary to re-read a manuscript more than once just to be sure everything is as it should be. All in all, though, the author has delivered a novel with a story-line and plot that is imaginative yet down to earth. It makes for a book that wouldn't look out of place on anyone's book shelf regardless of age. See all 16 reviews.

Did they create human hybrids? What is their plan for Earth? And for us, the human hybrids?

See a Problem?

Why did some like the original humans Bigfoot resist? Will we survive; what is yet to come? Those who look for the truth already know; those who fail to search are lost; but those with an open mind will soon come to know The Descendants of Man. Much of the information that was obtained to create this story is believed to be true by many people around the world.

I received this audio book and another, by this author, for a review. This was a bit of a rough listen for me. I didn't care for the dialogue between characters, everything seemed padded to add more time to the book. It seems like a small complaint but it got so bad I had to take a break from the book. So it just seemed to drag on. Low marks on the audio because the recording has some cell phone notification sounds that didn't get taken out, that's just sloppy work: The narrator sounded decent, but to not proof listen to the work I was given this audiobook in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

First off the narrator was awful. Second, the dialog between characters is shallow, even for a YA audience. There is little character development created from the dialog and it didn't feel conversational, The story itself is decent and has promise, but between the narrator and dialog, it made finishing this book impossible, which is highly unusual for me. I am considering finishing the book on Kindle, which speaks to how I felt about the story.
