Jan 21, Sarah rated it liked it. I liked this book by the female MC annoyed me on so many occasions. Her indecisiveness really got on my nerves. I mean for somebody who had been in the lifestyle that long you'd think she'd know a good thing when she saw it. Jan 29, Goth Gone Grey rated it it was ok Shelves: Overall, we read books like this for loads of hot, kinky sex. Sex wise, this book is smoking hot. Context of the sex? Giant, throbbing WTF filled with cream and boiling seed. Insanely aroused shortly after true medical emergencies?

Nov 29, Amanda rated it liked it Shelves: This was a freebie read picked for me in a group. It was an average read. I needed more time to connect with their relationship. The book did keep me reading, minimal errors, and a standalone read with no cliffhangers. Oct 07, Melissa Miller-Mattern rated it liked it. The overall story in Embracing My Submission was okay at best but it seemed like the book went on and on and on with no ending is site. The characters were hot and cold and all over the place. I felt the vocabulary was atrocious. Aug 26, Avid Reader rated it it was amazing. Death, abuse, non-consensual play I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads. Emerald Julianna is searching - she's searching for her submission and someone to guide her in the lifestyle that calls to her.

Drake is a wonderful protector, but he sometimes, holds on too tight. This is where the story really takes hold. He is a businessman and a friend, but he is also looking for someone to close the gaping hole in his heart. Jacob writes such emotion in to this story, I found tears streaming down my cheeks several times throughout the story. You can really feel Emerald's despair, hurt and anger, her acceptance and love too.

With Mika, you can feel his struggle and confusion. This was a great start to a series that I hope will be just as good. Jan 27, C.

Maria rated it really liked it. I read this in one sitting, it was good, really good. For a long time I was looking for a book in this genre that surprised me and with this I found it. I was about love, finding your self. And it has a little bit of paranormal aspects to it. My problems and the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 were toward the ending, the relationship developed a little to fast for my liking and the main female character was a little annoying an I read this in one sitting, it was good, really good.

My problems and the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 were toward the ending, the relationship developed a little to fast for my liking and the main female character was a little annoying and page after page had some problem. I absolutely loved some of the qualities that Mika has.

Sep 16, Rhonda rated it it was amazing. She has a way of developing her characters and their relationships that pull you in. Happily they realize they are meant for one another. The secondary characters were also interesting and I look forward to their stories. Is it hot in here or what? I enjoyed this book a lot. It was a quick but very satisfying read. The story had some weird moments and quite a few twists and turns, but was overall entertaining. Julianna and Mika together were scorching! The authors knowledge of the lifestyle was on point for a change and I'm looking forward to read some more about the Club Genesis.

Dec 16, Laurie H rated it it was ok Shelves: I agree with the person that said they couldn't get engaged with the characters. As soon as I would feel like I was getting into the book a little, a switch would flip and it would go in a different direction. I wasn't into the paranormal part of the book either.

I really wanted to love this book, just couldn't get there!

I loved this book. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. She keeps having the same dream about a woman who looks like her and a beautiful Dom. Without giving too much away, there are twists and turns in this story some very emotional. I'll definitely be reading on in this series.

Sep 10, Maureen Nicholson rated it really liked it Shelves: This was my first time reading from this author and it was a nice surprise. The plot was engaging with a little paranormal activity and the story was well written. Both MC's were likable with undeniable chemistry, and sex scenes were very steamy. All in all, this was an enjoyable read. I look forward to reading more from this author. Dec 23, Bree Cheese rated it it was ok Shelves: This is a tough review to write. I quite enjoyed the beginning of book, but I could not get into the main characters and didn't buy their connection.

The supernatural element to this book was also a bit odd. The writing is quite good, though, and I can see the potential of this author for future books. This one was just a bit mixed bag for me. Aug 04, Beth buswell rated it liked it Shelves: Hard to embrace This book had a good plot and a good start. What normally would be a really hot scene fell flat do to words like meaty bottom lip, nectar, quivering channel. I just couldn't continue the story after that.
