At the same time, it has been reported that the dolphins are periodically given painful endoscopies to remove all kinds of objects from their stomachs, and there have also been reports of overcrowding of animals in the same pool and the limited space they are given.

It should therefore be pointed out that such parks play absolutely no part in education or conservation. On that basis, is the Commission aware of what really happens in these centres?
