My son told me that everyone was especially cordual and that the food was excellent.
It was a special evening for them and Uncle Bubbas went out of their way to make it happen. This has made me want to visit Savannah soon and especially Uncle Bubbas for the same delicous food! The wait staff looked at me as if I was crazy. The raccoons were waiting for supper. I love animals but I canteat with them!!!! We live here and right down the street to boot-- I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I've been there three times and have been disappointed all three times. We had the pleasure of eating lunch today at Uncle Bubba's. The service was wonderful. We even got to meet Bubba as we were leaving. Don't believe the negative reviews-this is a great spot!

I was a little nervous to try this restaurant after reading all of the negative reviews. If you do not like fried food, it is not for you, but if you do, try it. We went on Father's Day around 7pm without a reservation. We waited around an hour but once we were seated the service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and checked on us frequently. I ordered crab legs and got a huge portion. The fried pickles were great also. My husband had shrimp and scallops and got a very large portion.

We did not try the grilled oysters but people were raving about them. You can see the person shucking them and grilling them in the dining room. The food was very fresh and hot when brought to our table.
