They said she was kind of a bully to her daughter and they weren't happy at all with her. We read it once. The kiddos were okay with it but said they probably won't read it again. They did like the koala bear enough to say they would try the next book.

We firmly believe that not every book is for everyone but every book is for someone. I would recommend that if what bothered the children is something you also don't like, borrow this book and try it out. It might be your child is the someone for this book and you can buy it easily. But if your child feels as mine do, then you didn't lose any money. I read this to my kids as a bed time story.

Kay Kay, My Super Hero Koala Bear!

As bullying remains a huge problem, it's important to raise awareness to it. All children will love this book. My daughter loved this story! It is a great read for any child. A very gifted writer that keeps kids entertained. I liked the way that the author wrote this story to portray a very important message to all those who have wanted to cut down our forests in order to build more buildings of any sorts including mslls, etc Therefore, I wish to recommend this ebook story for five stars and for kids and up! I received this ebook for free by using KU, now in return, here is my honest review.

What a great children's book this is. It was read to our nearly 3 year old by our 6 year old with help from their older sister age All the kids really enjoyed the story and want to read the other book that we have which was also written by Talia. Our children are very fond of Koala bears so this story was perfect for them.

I think that this book would interest children up to 10 but mostly younger kids unless that 10 year old is playing the "teacher" and enjoyed her "students" as they read their books. You won't be disappointed with the art work at all; it is really good.

Lucky for us, the animal toys, we have no problem looking in the mirror. We just figure there is another creature standing in front of us and it just happens to be that it looks exactly like us. Her mom, who was still angry about the divorce, wasn't happy with Kay Kay, but that didn't bother her. What did was how many people were bulking other people in the world. From the other toys, to the other kids and even more.

I did see a couple of things I thought were wrong,! I thought Mala talked rudely to her mother, and sounded more like the adult than the mom did. Kay Kay's answer to bullying was to bully back, but she did see that what she did was wrong, so there was redemption.

Other than those minor things the story was cute and had a point in the end. This was a cute story about a little girl named Mala and her stuffed koala bear named Kay Kay. It had a good message about standing up to bullying. I read it to my 7-yr old daughter and 8-year old son over a couple of nights for our bedtime story.

They enjoyed the story but they said I should take away one star because there weren't any pictures. The book could also be improved with better editing as some of the verb conjugation wasn't quite right maybe English isn't the author's first language This was a cute story about a little girl named Mala and her stuffed koala bear named Kay Kay. In any case, I did enjoy the story and its message. I was happy to win this book from Goodreads First Reads. This was a Goodreads win. It doesn't say it's an unedited copy, but there a lot of grammatical errors in the book, which I felt distracted the story. Also, I'd be concerned about reading this to a child. There were good messages about bullying, but the mother was awful and there was a lot of yelling which bothered me.
