How My Gay Husband Deconstructed My Life and Reconstructed My Faith

These are lies that Satan wants to use to distract you from genuine ministry. He has cleverly cloaked them as your own ideas. And you face them every day. There are times that during the time after Sunday morning worship, I end up saying something that I repeat in my head all day, questioning my wording and my tone. I have regretted saying too much WAY more often than I have regretted saying too little. Is this true for you, too?

When you hold a grudge, the person you hurt the most is yourself. I see it all the time in families and in churches. Seems kind of like a lose-lose situation to me. A few hurtful comments even if they might be well-meaning are all it takes to let me know to start building a wall of protection around myself.

When I catch myself, I realize I fell for the lie again. Find a woman that you trust, and start building a relationship with her. Take on some of her burdens and give her some of yours. The Gay Preacher's Wife

I liked the idea of this story but wasn't crazy about the way it was written. I wished the characters were more likeable and easy to identify with, but they didn't stir much in me. I liked the Polish donut store owner the best and he's a minor character, but he made me laugh. The story had a few highlights, but overall I was disappointed and just wanted to get to the end so I could be done with it.
