The thing I found most interesting about it was that it depicts that bullying wouldn't be such a problem today if kids took the time to get to know each other before randomly picking on someone. The fact that the bully in this story is being 'forced' into a brother role through marriage is brilliant!
I would recommend this book to all kids of any age! Bullying is everywhere in schools and it shows kids in a humorous way to keep their attention that you just might like this person once you really get to know him or her and you just never know Truly a great read from a brilliant writer! With most of Mike's books I find myself thinking about the next book, what's going to happen when these characters get older? His family is very funny and comedic in a way that makes me think, wow what a great movie this would make The Grannies are hilarious and I believe out of dysfunction you can find your happy ending!!

So, check it out and see for yourself! My son absolutely loved this book, said it was better than the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, which he was really into. He laughed out loud at the hilarious dialogue from the over-the-top supporting characters, and he found he could really relate to the main character and his friends. Any kid that has dealt with bullying in any way will really enjoy this book. To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. Lists with This Book.
