Then came Rachel, and now he's into Katie. Speaking of Katie, she's now bff with Allie and her posse, and she is no longer into Silvain. Silvain is now with Allie and everything is hormonal sunshine and aroused making-out session with Allie. She would like to dry-hump him right now So she'll just pretend to be into Silvain, while secretly being into Carter. Carter, however, is still dating Jules, even though he has started ignoring her and not replying to any of her attempts to reach ot to him via letters.
Well, that's too bad, but he's into Allie anyway. While Allie wants to be with Carter, and vice versa, but remains staying with Silvain and walking all over his feelings, Rachel breaks up with Lucas, and is very obviously in the middle of her coming-out, but the concept of homosexuality seems to elude Allie, and possible everyone else, except maybe Silvain, who made a comment once, but who knows, as he fucked off somewhere yonder anyway.

Rachel is very obviously into Nicole, and Nicole into her, or maybe she's into Dom Now that both Jules and Silvain are out of the picture, yet actually still in relationships with Carter and Allie respectively, the latter hook up, while all the while declaring how much they don't want to hurt anyone, especially Silvain and Jules, and then proceed to do just that, because they can't be arsed to break up with people they are not into, instead preferring to cheat on them with selfish self-absolution.
Declarations of love are exchanged, encouraging the reader to roll their eyes out of their sockets, and the book ends with Allie crying and feeling sorry and being embarrassing as usual, and Carter being a self-important asshole martyr as usual. I really loved this one!! I am dying to find out what happened in the next one! There was too much romance for my taste, and overall my only problem with this book and the whole series in fact is the love triangle thing. I find it really unnecessary and distracting to the actual plot. She thinks she's in 'love' with both Carter and Sylvain and stresses about it when she can't make up her mind, even though she's only what, sixteen?
Aside from the romance though, I really do enjoy this seri 3. Aside from the romance though, I really do enjoy this series. This book was fast paced and important plot pieces emerged. The relationships between the characters developed and Allie's definitely grown as a character except her ridiculous boy issues and even Daughtery's writing style has developed and she's starting to find her own voice.
One more book that I liked a lot in this series! It has action from the first page and it kept my interest all the way! Really, I couldn't put it down! And I was more than happy to see that the whole problem with the love triangle has been solved because although I was ok wih a little teenage drama I didn't want this to continue anymore.
At the beginning Allie is very stubborn but I was happy to see that she is changing through the story. Sylvain is a young man who is not foolish and knows what One more book that I liked a lot in this series! Sylvain is a young man who is not foolish and knows what he has to do so I came to like him. Carter can't hide his emotions and he is doing everything he can to keep Allie safe so he is always in my heart. And as for the traitor? I knew he was him and I have to admit that I found his reasons for the treason lame! I really can not understand this guy at all! As you can see, I really enjoyed reading this book!!
Dec 19, Haidoulina rated it it was ok. That's me if you didn't get it In this book applies what I said for the previous one I skimmed through it The only silver lining is that we saw some action in the last few chapters and Allie finally decided who she's in love with As for the spy and the big revelations of who he is?!?!? Yeah, right folks, I've figured him out since the second book That and the fact t That's me if you didn't get it That and the fact that I've already spent so many hours and brain cells in this Mar 08, Heather T is currently reading it.
I feel like this series is the muggle version of Hogwarts. Right down to the split amongst the parents. I'm so almost done with this series!

Jun 22, Nadia rated it it was amazing Shelves: It filled me with pain, tears, joy, more tears. Did I mention tears? The ending signed my death sentence. I really didn't know what to feel about that, I guess I didn't mind as long as they were just friends. But of course it had to be something more when they returned to Cimmeria. I don't really care if what Sylvain did for "Allie and Carter save the world. I don't really care if what Sylvain did for her birthday was cute, I still don't ship him with my baby girl. To be honest, I was so excited about the last couple of chapters that I didn't pay much attention to the all the shit that was going on at the beginning.
But my son Carter was sad and I couldn't bear it at all, I only want him to be happy. Rachel started hanging out with Nicole more ah, the first steps of their relationship and we got to see more of Zoe. I would give anything to be part of their group. When the spy was identified everything was chaos. The bastard Jerry tried to escape and hit Zoe. I really hate him. Then the parley was set up and everyone was so stressed about it and Sylvain had to go to France only two days before the meeting so my boy Carter took his place.
Even Lucinda knew he was the right one to go with Allie and made him promise he would get her out there if anything happened, because she knew how much Carter loves Allie. So, the night of the parley finally came and Nathaniel played dirty again and someone got hurt again and someone died again. But Carter kept his promise and got Allie out and they made it to the safe house and there everything changed.
Night School: Resistance
And they had sex and it was all so beautiful and they can't live without each other Carter literally sacrifised himself so Allie could escape. He shoved her into the car and put himself in front of her to protect her from the dogs Nathaniel sent and he was all alone And if he dies. Now I understand what Jerry meant when he told Allie to take someone she really believes in. This was planned all along I hate them all so much.
Carter gas been though hell all his life. The first time he went to London was when his parents died and the second he got abducted. I will never understand the logic of hurting children to get what you want. Dec 16, Valentina rated it it was amazing. Allie changes - becomes more powerful, more caring and more confused, mirroring and matching her age. Cimmeria changes, Carter changes, Sylvain changes. This book is what sets the series on fire. I loved every single part of it until the very end. May 22, Jenny rated it it was amazing. Resistance is an absolutely beautiful novel let me just say I completely bawled my eyes out at one point and I can't wait until the fifth and final book comes out and I can read it.
I really don't want this series to end, it's my complete and utter favourite. I want more series' CJ!! View all 7 comments.

I feel so manipulated by this love triangle. And the way Asperger Syndrome is depicted lacks so much accuracy. Your display name should be at least 2 characters long.
