In fact both camps, just as you said, had the perfect amount of comfort, allowing one to feel close to the nature of Africa. Beautiful, stylish, comfortable, quiet, restful, …. Please feel free to use us for recommendations. We couldn't be happier!! The horses were complete stars and to be able to ride amongst so much game was truly unforgettable. It went far too fast and I wish we could rewind and have it all over again.

A huge thank you again to you all for the best holiday in the world. The guide was terrific. The strength of feeling I now have for the country, the people, the food, the music, the dance is immense. We went for a trek and the trek was fantastic but Lalibela, the churches and the market, blew us all away. We all agreed it was quite the most special and memorable holiday we have had for many a year. I cannot tell you how much I would recommend this to other people, especially people who want to really learn about the wildlife, the country, the challenges and the opportunities.

It was tailored to my exact requirements, everyone is extremely skilled at this and got it absolutely right. The horses were wonderful and the riding itself was exactly what I wanted. I have travelled a great deal, but rarely can I remember such peace. I know our African holiday will be one we will look back on with so many happy memories. Our guide, Ahadi, was very knowledgeable and certainly helped to make our safari an interesting experience. All of our hotels and lodges were excellent choices on your part. It was a unique holiday, faced with a tough description of what we wanted, you more than met with our fantasies about Kenya!
The service was also so personal and professional from beginning to end. The Safari was great; the accommodation was excellent, the scenic backdrops and game-viewing varied in accordance with the terrain, and last but not the least, our driver and guide Moses was simply superb.
We saw a lot of wildlife including a cheetah with three cubs which was very exciting. We wanted to stay longer at all of them. Definitely would like a herd of Oryx in the field here. They are sooo beautiful. Our guide at Okonjima was also madly passionate and enthusiastic about his job. He should do really well I think. The camp itself, the people, the food, and not to mention the surprises! Thank you for taking care of everything and for not giving anything away especially so last minute.

It was all just perfect. The managers were wonderful and could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable or comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.
They laid on special expeditions fishing etc for the young when they were "game drived" out. The game viewing was exceptional and the Rangers made sure that we saw the big five and much more. Thank you, thank you!!

Organization, kindness and smiles were evident in every camp. Thanks to you, I had a lovely Birthday with the staff singing Happy Birthday in their own native language bringing me chocolate Birthday cake. In one sentence — we were treated like a King and a Queen.
Here I was lucky enough to come across Nicola Shepherd of The Explorations Company, an expert on Africa who knew at once what we wanted and laid on a superb itinerary. The whole holiday was a wonderful experience and more than lived up to our expectations. Thank you for your brilliant organisation.
Our Awards
Annabelle and Steve were a great host and hostess and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our guide was great and very helpful. We saw wonderful game and really enjoyed our visit to the little school where we are sponsoring a teacher. The lodge you recommended on Zanzibar really took our breath away and we hope it remains a well kept secret. We have so many memorable moments from jumping off cliffs and canoeing with hippos in Laikipia, to Zac catching the most enormous fish that fed everyone for supper at Tides Lodge. The safaris and guides were absolutely brilliant and we were lucky enough to see the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti.
Our holiday was awesome from start to finish. The Elephant Camp was amazing and very luxurious.

Finally I put pen to paper! I just wanted to let you know how delighted we all were with the fabulous safari you organised for us to Tanzania. This is just a quick note to thank you for all your hard work in arranging what turned out to be a holiday of a lifetime. Although it is a bit long, I thought you might enjoy reading it.
I am delighted that I stumbled across The Explorations Company at the Scottish Game Fair and that you convinced me you were the right people for organising our honeymoon. There were so many wonderful moments that we had— I could be here all night writing about them. The coffee stops and sundown drinks were always fun and entertaining — in beautiful places on riverbanks accompanied by hippos snorting or kingfishers at their work.
I am sure we will speak soon but in the meantime, we are home safe and it was the best holiday ever! Our trip in Africa was a dream come true. We all fell in love with Africa, needless to say and I have told all my friends to book such a trip with you soon.
