At other times it feels just the opposite. Writing for the glory of God and the benefit of others is a full-time ministry that uses all our senses.
I once published a guest post for someone on a writing blog who included recipes in her books. It made me think about how that was a great way to connect the sense of taste to our reader. This is a really good article and I am so happy with it. Connect with her online at ShannonMilholland. I am also feeling compelled to share stories of people who will never sit behind a computer and write them. In addition to being willing to write my own stories as God calls me to, I feel compelled to help others tell their stories to encourage and challenge others.
Tammy, that is so cool! It thrills me when I get to be a voice for the voiceless. What an excellent post.

I love being challenged to review my motives and check myself at every turn. Thank you for that. I believe it is very important for believers to take a step back every once in a while and evaluate ourselves, our ministry, our writing, and our goals. I wrote an article on my personal blog this morning about how our suffering and even death can and is!
Blessings to you, my sister in the Lord! Shannan, Charles is right. This is a keeper! Thanks for stretching my thinking and my faith. I do very much think that you can be true to yourself and write with your voice while writing the stories of others. In fact, that can be a huge part of being true to yourself and telling the stories of others can be your voice, if that is something you are called to do. Shannan, hon, you are speaking my language on so many levels.
Thank you for challenging us. We are not meant to be average. We serve the Most High God.
