Kurz gesagt, keine Hoffnung und auch keine Transzendenz. I don't know how I extrapolated 4 stars from these comments, but I reckon I'll look this book up again must have got it from the library.
Very dark, very sorry German. There's little description of place or scene, just the actions and reactions of the characters. It's a book you can fill up on your own. Can't vouch for the english version, but I strongly suggest somebody check it out: On of my fav books. I simply love it!!!
